 Blackberry chat on Android?

Is there any apps out that that allow us to connect to blackberry chat? My boss insist that i get the blackberry for the balckberry chat but i dont want to give up my HTC legend...

hahahaha i dont think he will take kindly to my suggestion... tongue.gif but i heard you can have an app on iphone to enable BB chat... i am hoping we can do the same for android...

there are quite a number of cross platform IM apps out there... i didn't bother to try them all so u have to... laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

No, for now. Coz u need to have Blackberry Internet Service to run BBMesengger

so when is Android getting some BBM love?.. i really dont want to revert back to Balckberry and i dont want to carry too many phones

I wish that too. But dont think RIM will open up BBM to other platform.
And as a BB user, I also dont wish RIM will do that. BBM are special to BB user.

My solution: Carry 2 phones, BB Storm2 and N1

HTC released BB connect for HTC model such as Dopod 838 pro, D810 Tytn II for quite sometime already, but those devices still cant use BBM.. right?

Like t3chn0m4nc3r said...its not a big deal for BB users to install an app that integrates Gtalk..in fact I think most do as they want to also keep in touch with those who do not have BB.

IMHO, there's no reason to own a BB given that Froyo 2.2 has full Microsoft Exchange support, well, at least for Emails, Contacts and Calendars.

Don't think so. BB service need subscription and require special configuration on the phone....etc different APN.
