If you'd ask me what's the most interesting thing to be happening around the new patch... it has to be level cap increase, and not forgetting the introduction of emblem system!

1. How and where and what?
Emblem is like a badge.. a token you carry around with your character with special effects on each of them... be it stats, skills, or boss skills...

Look out for this NPC at lv24-40 place... lv1-24 is a different NPC... one stand near the bridge with spectacles as well...
If you are unsure how, make sure you visit 1-24 map Kadillac Emblem NPC... because he lets you get a hands on a plate for free and have you test it out on how to make an emblem.. Always the third option is to have the NPC make an emblem for you...



2. Notice at the right side.. in my inventory there are plates or badges i would call them... the ones surrounded by green are emblems already done... the one surrounded with red is the plates... dungeons only drop plates and to produce an emblem specified to that plate... the NPC has to do for you.. with materials such as the gemstones or diamonds.. with also a small amount of fee... in this case i got a plate (the one darkened in my inventory) of counter wave skill, i right click it... it shows 2 option.. (look on the right) first is damage increase with a % second is casting speed is increased with a %... not all emblems came out the same effect though... some are common emblems where all jobs can use them... and some are job specified (like mine here... usually the skills of a character)... there are not hard to recognize.. there is a picture indicating what the emblem has effect on.... a Drop of water will be lesser mana cost, a sword will be offensive or damage... a shield would be defensive stats... a Love Heart shape would be Vitality or Health Points... a person running would be faster casting speed... a clock ticking would be faster skill CoolDown... and so on and so forth.... an emblem cannot be traded UNLESS already made into one... in other words... to be specific... a plate dungeon drops for you cannot be traded.... after processing out an emblem... you're free to trade...



Equiping an emblem.....
press P and you have an extra column now... the emblem's column.... equip an emblem simply by right clicking it... but there is level requirements to it... the picture shows i have 6 emblems at the out most and left 2 slots untouched because they were suppost to be lv 34 and above... and since im still 33... it's impossible to equip an emblem there... a slot has a level requirement.. but think of it like when you reach the level... the slot would be UNLOCKED.. basically you can put any level emblems you want even a lv10 emblem at a lv32 slot... it'll work... because you already have the level requirement... it's fine..
An emblem WILL BE DESTROYED if you try to unequip it... so unless you're not needing it... do not ever right click on equiped emblems...
The column as you can see i coloured it with blue, orange and green... green would be stat emblems... usually more C graded than B graded emblems.. columns marked with blue are B grade usually... and are skill enhancing emblems.... the column marks with yellow is where A (and rumors S) emblems will be placed... it is a special skill from a boss plate or something like that..
emblems are good but they CANNOT stack... let's say once you have a vitality emblem at lv10.. and you just got a lv24 (this was my case) i have to forfeit the lv10 one.. in other words, destroy it before i can equip my lv24.... so usually emblems you find which can upgrade your current one... destroy your current one and get it replaced..
The column on the right with words on it are how eventually the emblems would turn out giving what stats to us... are all summarized in that column...

I hope this clear lots of the doubts... and im sure i missed out something... so please ask more... it's 535 and im really tired that i dont know what am i typing but a promise is a promise i must get this done... so i'll do more tomorrow about NPC's lovey dovey and also the new teleport system...

as u say there are level requirement for different slots.

Meaning there will be different level badges/emblems rite?

so to make the low level emblems i need go get low level plates? so need go farm in lower level dungeons?

hacker hack till 2 hour to get lv 40

report to GM that impossible so fast get to 40lv

alot of server packed with lvl40 already thats why they having a emergency maintanence right now for 3 hours.

Expecting for a ROLLBACK right now

GG , i nvr saw any Lv40's in my server instead Lv33 on the very FIRST DAY was like " WOW " !! 19-10-2010 , i saw somebody Lv33 .. i wonder how he did that ?? Or maybe he just save too much 黑暗边界 to grind till he levels .

holycow, meaning the tutor system should be useful~

dun hunt low lv embllem. use lv high one but we cant use same emblem.
