Hey guys I have to send my earphones to China for RMA, and I've put them in a small box (~9cm x 9cm x 5cm), and I want to send it through registered air mail to reduce my costs. I don't mind if it arrives in China after 2 or 3 weeks. But I'm not sure if PosLaju will allow this, and instead might file this under parcel and require me to use courier. So guys, any of you have done something like this before?
Hello
I am been selling things online and use registered air mail by Post Malaysia for some time already. I had sent to many countries including US, UK , Australia, South Korea, Italy, France, Jordan, Brazil, Argentina with no problems.
I have to admit that I had never sent to China (they do not buy from malaysia as their items are much cheaper domestically) but had asked Post Malaysia before that the only country that they do not send to is Israel.
The box is too small. The issue with the size of the box is that you need to stick / write a lot of info on it.
The things you need to write on the box:
1) Receiver's detail - name , address, telephone number
2) Sender's detail - name, address, telephone number / email (in case the item cannot reach)
3) Registered Mail Sticker for Tracking Number (RM4.10) ( 6 x 8 cm)
4) Mel Udara Sticker, Blue, (4 x 2 cm)
5) Stamps (depending on the weight of your item)
6) Custom Declaration Form, Green, (7.5 x 10.5cm)
So you need to get a bigger box. No need to worry too much on the price as China is considered near (ZONE B), hence it is cheap.
For example, if the total weight of your package is about 150g, your cost should be around RM10 (including Tracking number)
