I was told that the collector's edition come with the jim raynor dog tag USB drive that contains the starcraft original and expansion broodwar installer. With it also comes with a completely new set of CD key for the original starcraft. So essentially, buying the collector's edition is buying both SC1 and SC2. Can somebody verify this? Where is the CD key of the original starcraft kept? Is there a sticker attached to the thumbdrive that states the CD key?

This is true. However I've yet to examine the package myself. The USB is included. You're absolutely right that if you're buying this you're also buying starcraft 1 and its expansions. As for a new CD key...I am not really sure...

The CD key for the original Starcraft Anthology will appear automatically during installation, so you can say it's in the USB itself.
