Read the reviews, everything is there and comparison is also available. The SSD is still faster and more superior, the Momentus XT can't even go on par but only near to the SSD in certain cases. Plus, Momentus XT cannot run on RAID-0.

if placing a ssd on a notebook is there any problems? what i mean is that supportable & the heat?

Aiyoh, 1/4 ram = 25% = 4gb I would consider setting 2-50mb Page file on C drive and call it a day if you are worried of the PC crashing in case the rams got used up.

I see no reason to buy SATA2 now when SATA3 Crucial M4 is so affordable.

If ur mobo support sata3, than why not? you are seeing a double in transfer speed here.

although crucial m4 are affordable but it would be a nightmarish task of RMA for the unlucky fellow. if only I didn't bought my corsair force3 120GB for rm620 than I might say something differently

yes alot of ppl are complaining abt sandforce sata3 ssd having multitude of problems. but I see most SB mobo user tend to say the firmware update usually solves their problems.
if u want to play safe than go with marvel based ssd

Good news if it is true that the latest FW will fix the BSOD bug since it's been a year after the launch.

I'm going to grab some SF-based SSDs if it's fixed.

Im guessing this could be THE thing that earns true hybrid drive. Tho the price seems somewhat close to the current ssd.
