u cannot use external enclosure . must use mobo sata port and set it to ahci. if as boot drive u cannot update as well.

Don't know about other brands, but the latest OCZ Toolbox allows you to update even if it's a bootdrive.

Actually not the latest toolbox. It was ALREADY doable in version 2.31. Latest one is 2.39

depends whether u want the unpredictable sandforce(dunno if the new firmware has already fix the problem) or u want the stability of marvell.

regardless of thailand flood, wnt to ask..whats the best SSD now for money? (i mean, the same as F3 for HDD)

13 to logon and 36 to desktop is kinda long dont u think ? even my intel g3 which i assume is slower than agility, is shorter than that  . u need to check your settings again.

i doubt the synapse is faster than a dedicated ssd with boot. but the site's result is rather surprising.
yeah that's what i was thinking also. as long as the software and firmware keeps alive, things should go well. but if they stop support then too bad. very risky.

And the fact that they could have made the software usable with the current ssd but they dont want .. kinda like cheating people's money

sigh .. boot drive only .. and i tot i can gain some bit of perf on a secondary drive whilst retaining an actual ssd for boot.

all in all i see a failure product.

but for laptop with 2 bays, then this will probly work better.
