Bought the Corsair GT 120GB a few days ago with my new build.
The stock firmware was 1.3.2. Latest firmware for download is 1.3.3 which fixes some stability issue. However, I didn't upgrade the firmware as I have had no problems using it. Haven't BSOD on me so far. No lockups / random slowdowns. Works perfectly |

QUOTE(beetle_larvae @ Dec 14 2011, 04:19 PM) Just got new mobo and setup with crucial m4 64 gb.. Have you changed your bios IDE -> AHCI ?The write speed is a bit low [attachmentid=2585695] Added on December 14, 2011, 4:27 pm QUOTE(cheahchongseng @ Dec 12 2011, 09:29 PM) Is it most of the people here using sandforce based SSD? Performance vs BSOD? I'm using Corsair Force GT. Firmware 1.3.2 . That came with the drive when I bought it. The latest firmware is 1.3.3. I haven't updated yet as I have not encountered any problems with my SSD. Its been running rock steady solid since I got it last week. No BSOD when going / coming out from sleep mode. No BSOD when playing games and so on. So far very happy with the drive. Anyway, I'm using crucial M4. So far stable and steady Its true what they say. Once you go SSD, you can never go back to conventional HDDs. This post has been edited by kembar4: Dec 14 2011, 04:27 PM |
