The p35-ds3 raid wont give u much on performance becos it's using gigabyte raid controller n not intel raid chipset controller, i have test it before becos i am using the same mobo like u mention. Check my signature below.

Owikh is selling OEM Intel G2 160GB SSDs for RM 750. Check his signature. 250MB/s read and 100 MB/s write. One week personal warranty only as it is OEM. Be sure to stress test it before the week is out.

Dont worry about 1 week warranty, i am using it for 3.5 months already still tip top condition, give some credit to Owikh for selling the oem ssd at that price.

SSD using less voltage than your HD, so dont think it will overload your psu

My intel ssd G2 160g having some write problem, the read is still ok at 262 but the write previously 110, now only getting 90, anyone here having this problem. Using for roughly around 5-6 months.

most likely the energy savings settings in the bios/win7 performance settings slowing it down.
disable all cpu energy saving options in the bios.
in win7 power management performance option set to high then in advanced set the hard disk to never power down/never sleep.
log off and idle overnight twice a week to keep performance up.

Hi, thanks for the suggestion, might try it out tonight.

If budget is not a constrain then u can have speed n capacity but if budget is a problem then i suggest capacity then speed, that is my opinion
