sigh .. boot drive only .. and i tot i can gain some bit of perf on a secondary drive whilst retaining an actual ssd for boot.

all in all i see a failure product.

but for laptop with 2 bays, then this will probly work better.

hi guys

i need to load programs quickly, visual studio, sql server, VMWare, compliing , etc...

what do u think of intel 320 ? 120GB for RM620 (dunno got increase or not) with 5 year warranty.

is this the best value/performance/reliability ?

Added on November 21, 2011, 5:12 pmanother question, it seems that Intel 320 can "make windows XP Support TRIM". does it really work? I really rather have WinXP

im using the intel 320 120GB as my boot drive + gaming drive for my new pc and its superb by my standards!

i would say that intel SSD's are quite reliable.. I personally own 3 intel SSD's : 1 40GB, 1 120GB and 1 160GB and all of them are running fine (the oldest being the 40GB one which I had for over a year already)

just my 2 cents smile.gif

Hi there, new to this thread
Currently i'm using OCZ Agility 3, no problem so far until this morning
I use Autoclick last night(overnight) & when i turn on my monitor this morning, a BSOD with 000007a is showing, i try to restart and it say my boot drive is missing
Then i go to my BIOS and check, there's only my HDD n optical drive, SSD Gone?!?! shocking.gif

I turn off everything and unplug the SSD, then plug in and try again, it works fine..no problem after running some bench (cine,prime..)

Anyone know what's wrong with the BSOD? do i have to update my firmware?
Please please icon_question.gif

i wudnt say unbeatable... if u have sata 3 port with a good sata controller u can opt for M4 with better performance. but intel 320 is suffice for boot drive and i'm liking it so far... yes u need to install in ahci mode to make use of its performance.

And it is at a nice price too. RM1,179 for a 256GB. And it even gives you 238GiB for storage instead of setting aside a lot of spare area, which is very nice. I hope the "beta testing" goes well, as I am interested in buying one of these.

yes the price shud be better since indilinx is owned by OCZ. thay dont have to buy those expensive sandforce controller and just use their own. hope this one is better than sandforce i mean with less problems biggrin.gif
