M4 is doing great at random 4k usage in the QD1-3 range where most desktop activities take place.

Intel Releases SSD Toolbox 3.0 Software
QUOTE
Intel released the Solid-State Drive Toolbox 3.0 system software, which it recommends for use with its SSDs. SSDs have a limited number of times they can rewrite data onto their NAND flash cells. The most common 20-nanometer class MLC NAND flash offers around 5,000 rewrite cycles. This software monitors your Intel SSD for performance degradation, and provides a measure of how many rewrite cycles are left, so you can plan beforehand about backing up your data and replacing it. The software also provides a suite of diagnostics for your Intel SSD. Lastly, the software can update your drive's firmware without the need for a DOS bootable disk.

intel much more stable. statistic speaks for itself. agility 3 is a lil slower with uncompressed data but it is cheaper than vertex 3. 1st of all u must know why u want to use ssd? then only u choose which one suits u

I've bought agility 3 and no matter what is an enormous improvement over my HDD. But make sure your have SATA3 to fully utilize it. My boot time total is less than 25 sec

not necessarily in order. but the top ones more important than the lower ones. there is also one setting which only apply to intel ssd. read carefully. in fact u dont have to do all settings. just the few 1st ones are enough already

just got myself an ssd after a long long time playing the wait for price drop lol.

Anyhow like most of us we start off with so much optimization & tweaking, it became so ridiculous.

Now, i'm faced with a problem which i dont know if its related to Lan connection or what.

In firefox clicking links via filestube to like filesonic or whatever, it hangs ff for few seconds.

Perhaps its because i've moved the TEMP folder to HDD ?
