Guys, I'm using a old macbook (2007) and i plan to get a macbook pro, but i realise now a macbook have non-removable batteries. I use my macbook like a desktop and i rarely use my battery on my mac.

I need advice on the impact of non-removable batteries... Thx!!

Thx for the info, cos im jus worried that i need to change my battery quite often, cos i do torrent, but also will carry my macbook around when im doing project. so i only put in my battery when im taking out, if not i just take off the battery so the battery have longer life span.

I looked up on apple website, they said can charge 1000 times, so if the battery is non removable.... 2 and half year need to go change?

@terrytay2009 Mac batteries cannot be removed anymore. so that's one thing, the other thing is that when fully charged, a Mac runs off the adapter, not the battery. so don't worry about running it down.
Yes, you should remove the charger and 'exercise' it at least once a month.

How do we use facetime on Macbook pro? is there a special program for it?

Just download Facetime Beta from apple website. I'm sure u know how to find it. It works quite well, except the fan is quite loud, hope they can reduce the noise when running facetime on mac.
