Hey guys, I got my MBP for just a few days..
Just want to ask, when I using MBP while charging, the area around the charging port is kinda hot..
Is this normal?

Anyone here tried calibrate your macbook pro battery?
Today, I'm ca;ibrating my macbook pro..When my battery reach 0%, it just went to hibernate instead of sleep..
Why???

Hey guys,
When I delete my file, it will show me a warning message that the file will delete permanently..
How can I make it just move to trash..As sometimes I may wrongly delete some files and wish to recover it.

Hey guys,
What is diskimage-helper?
When I open up activity monitor I saw diskimage-helper used up 99% of the CPU.
At that point of time I am doing the erase free space..

Hey guys,
I am going to buy a WD HDD for Time Machine backup and some other storage.
How can I organize the HDD so that I can still keep the WD SmartWare(thinking of make 2 partition)?
And, how much size should I reserve for Time Machine?
Will Time Machine remove old backups?

also, u dun need to set a specific size for time machine. just plug in the time machine, and do ur 1st backup 1st. all ur backup files will be kept in a single folder. u can store ur other stuff on the drive as well, without formatting it. just dun disturb the backup folder

up until the point where ur hdd is full (backups + ur other stuff), then time machine will delete ur backups starting from the oldest one. so the bigger ur hdd, or less other files u store in it, the more backups ur time machine can hold

clear? tongue.gif also i'd recommend getting a drive with firewire800 for time machine. much faster speed

Exactly, firefox also the same thing...
So, switch to Safari..use firefox and Chrome only when necessary..

Ya, Messenger Mac 8 is not really stable..
It always DC and at some places it cannot log in..
