hi guys, im looking for portable yet light laptop for my surfing/bussiness function. since i've already got my g73 asus laptop for desktop replacement/gaming function, so i'd like to get a something light for my bussiness purpose as i'll be travelling quite sometimes.
i know this might be wrong thread to ask LOL but yet i still want to ask.
i prefer MBP compared to MBA due to hdd capacity and price-wise.
however i've certain question before i certainly with my choice.
here's some question :
1. MBP never got any virus/keylogger/hacked at all? right? (this is most important as i'll be storing all sensitive document on my macbook soon -- as i've been hacked before on windows)
2. how lightly the MBP? 3. about the ACPP -- 1 year extend to 3 years warranty? all-inclusive warranty? 4. battery life wise? 5. MBP vs MBA -- whats the catch?
thanks

^^ thanks for very informative and helpfull reply.appereciated it.MBP is made of frm aluminium right? Why you said so ita heavier like any normal laptop out there.i thought it was light.hmm yea ill double consider on MBA.yea weight, battery, space will be my main concern.since ill be using this for bussiness purpose totally.thats why long term space with spacious hdd is needed.and i choose mac over others else brans due to osx.im paranoid with keylogger on ms

QUOTE(borneosailor @ Feb 11 2011, 02:52 AM) oh ok, thanx bro! Added on February 11, 2011, 3:00 amyeah, my MBP come with 4GB RAM from factory. i wanna upgrade to 8GB since i saw SSD price is super expensive. well.... to be honest im not so sure if i need 8GB... but i do play games like modern warfare 2 and bioshock(both buy from Mac App Store) and Call of duty:black ops(run on bootcamp window 7)... when i play Black Ops on my MBP, it lags a bit sumtimes, so i think adding RAM will help? how much is 8GB DDR3 1066 RAM nowadays? bro are u using macbook pro i5 or i7?

QUOTE(il0ve51 @ Feb 13 2011, 11:34 PM) planning to get 1 mpb 13" as i am going to start my online business soon, having a laptop rather than an iphone is much more easier i guess... however, after reading http://www.macrumors.com/2011/02/12/march-...w-macbook-pros/ i feel like wait for the next upgrade as i will busy during the 3rd and 4th week of feb (exam)... so most likely get 1 after it release hmm why dont you use normal laptop to do online bussiness, just asking because you could invest the rest of $$ to improve the bussiness i guess. no offence btw QUOTE(borneosailor @ Feb 14 2011, 05:37 AM) buy from amazon?
