Never! I have both the 11 and 13 inch models. I still use them both. In fact I frequently carry the 11 inch more since it is almost like carrying iPads around.

My dad just bought an ipad a couple of days ago and he told me it was a hassle to bring it anywhere tongue.gif

so it'll play no problem?
dont wanna buy an external then find out (too late) that it'll stutter to the end of the movie! laugh.gif
*
i dunno, haven't test it out lagi, hehe.

But if .mkv file + perian or VLC, it should not be any problem

bad idea  sweat.gif  plugged in when battery low n unplugged when battery full is very 1996  shakehead.gif imho li-ion shouldn't be treated like that?
*
Whats wrong when unplugged it when its full? i don't like my charger cable dangle around my feet. Is it that is the purpose of chargers, to charge ur battery, so when its full, i just unplugged it and go to my living room without the charger. When its low, just plugged it back in my room and leave it to full charge. I love 1996, 90's rock man!!

shouldnt current generation laptops have a circuit breaker of some sort to stop the flow of electricity to the battery once it's charged?
*

Man first time I'm so indesicive about getting a new computer. Sister gonna take my early 2009 MBP for studies next year. So imma get a new one. Was debating between a new MBP or iMac.

MBP is kinda risky since its gonna get refreshed pretty soon. While iMac means I'll be computerless for a month or two until I head back to Perth where I study. Also means I wont have the portability. Urgh. Decisions, decisions.

Was gonna go Alienware, but well, I've sold my preferences to Mac OS. Grr.

Travel alot = MBP
Travel little, always stay in dorm - iMac

hey, my friend bought a macbook pro 13" in US. can the adapter be used in malaysia?? coz the voltage of house plug in US and Malaysia different (110V in US while 240V in Malaysia). he told he that he feel some electric shock when he use it in Malaysia so he decided not to use it anymore. before spending money to get a Malaysia adapter, just want to ask whether or not US adapter is safe to use in Malaysia or not despite the different in voltage

I got myself a RM20 adapter from Jusco for my US MBP. works great!

I've got the best of both worlds. Doing design in both Mac and PC and im comfortable with both. If u can manage both OS, then no prob for you, no need to sell of your laptop. Maybe you can play games with your laptop tongue.gif
