Getting Started Junior Member 122 posts Joined: Sep 2006 From: Bear Hill, Malacca	Hello people. I'm in the market for a laptop to complement my desktop pc at home. I'm still undecided between the MBA 11" or MBP. To owners of the new MBA, can it handle the playback of 720p videos? I've read people complaining(???) the 720p youtube video playback as jerky and unsatisfactory on macrumors. Plus, is the screen on the MBP 13 better than MBA for viewing HD contents?

The current MBP 13" has a 1280x800 screen. On the MBA which has the same screen size, has 1440x900 pixels. That, is super crazy. With that being said, i suggest you go for the MBP instead. On another note, Steve did say that the new MBA will be the future of MacBooks. Steve said the MBA is the future of Macbooks, what are the likelihood of the MBP being upgraded next year without an optical drive?
