Hey all, I'm planning to place an order for a Macbook air 11" within the next couple days. It will be upgraded to 1.6 ghz, 4 gb ram; I am not in Malaysia at the moment but I have heard the upgrade models are not in stock and will need to be custom built.

Do you guys know how long from placing the order will it take to have the item delivered either via the Apple store, or directly from a retailer (such as Mac City, or Machines)?

I will only be in KL for a few weeks, so I need to know how long it will take to ship.

Just got my macbook air 11"; awesome computer; but I'm having problems with wifi -- its extremely slow connecting to my g router; and sometimes it doesn't even get allocated an ip! Other people also have the problem:

its a old crappy netgear, i've changed it to channel 6. No bluetooth devices in use.

Still takes awhile to link up and I usually have to reset the modem to speed things up.

And apparently you can bump the battery to 7 hours with the program Coolbook by underclocking the voltage with no change in performance.
