@Edoras,
regarding the MagSafe connector, Apple designed it as such so that it's angled.
Why? It's learnt that most folks who use the old MagSafe tend to place their cables behind their MacBooks. Rather than having tons of cases where the connectors are frayed and torn off(which presents a safety hazard), Apple has decided to make it angular. Besides, if the cable is out of sight, you won't even notice it being there.. smile.gif It also has a more slim form factor as well.

@pearlyLPU
let's look at the figures. The current MBP 13" has a 1280x800 screen. On the MBA which has the same screen size, has 1440x900 pixels. That, is super crazy. As for viewing HD videos, the MBA has slightly higher latency than the MBP. I have compared playback of 1080p videos on both Macs and the difference is not that striking, in terms of latency. With that being said, i suggest you go for the MBP instead.

On another note, Steve did say that the new MBA will be the future of MacBooks. And having said so, i'd suggest you wait a little longer until the new MBP launches around April. Apple might be able to put in that gorgeous 1440x900 display on the new MBP 13". wink.gif

@winmac,
by default, Mac OS X Snow Leopard comes with 64-bit capabilities pre-installed.
on this mode, 32-bit apps will run just fine, due to backwards capability.
as for the deals? just go to the Apple Online Store. They are far more efficient than any APR or AAR here.

Thank You smile.gif
i read this earlier. it doesnt tell.

it doesn't tell? If you meant about using the MBP while charging, it does state there that you could indeed do so.

Added on November 20, 2010, 4:43 pm@benny,
it's got nothing to do with Apple's directives. Apple never directs them to do so. Believe me, i work there. The issue here is the staff just don't want to learn new things. Always lazy to Google it up.

compare and see the difference between old readings and new. Let us know of the results.

@easypeasy,
oh, my.. the address you got is already discontinued nearly 2 years ago.
here's the new one.

Level 16, Block B, Northpoint Office,
Medan Syed Putra Utara, 59200 Kuala Lumpur.

- Take the LRT to Bangsar,
- Take the free feeder bus to MV
- Walk to the North Court.
- Proceed outside and you shall see a bridge connecting another building.
- Cross the bridge, head to tower B.
- Take the lift up to the 16th floor.

But seriously, if i were you, i'd just take the LRT to KLCC and head over to Jalan Yap Kwan Seng. I'd prefer sending my stuff to VR Technology. Better service, better reliability.

What's with us Malaysians and "special discounts"?
Got sick and tired hearing this all my life.
If you want something, just go and get it.
Don't rely on this screwed up mentality bro..
You'll never ever get anywhere, relying on "discounts", "freebies" and "packages".

again with this stupid discounts thing.
please, before asking silly questions on Black Friday,
do a frickin Wikipedia on the occurrence first.
if you do not know what on earth Wikipedia is, then Google it.
if you still do not know what Google is, we just can't help you anymore.
if you are gonna wait a for discount, then good luck, you're gonna be stuck at that for ages.

@ujoewong,
not really. The logic board of the Aluminum MacBook will accept a max of 6.0GB of memory.
As for SSD's, if you have some extra cash, go for Crucial SSD. The RealSSD tech in that can give you 355mb/s read. Blazing speed, that one.

Just pulled this off YouTube, courtesy of Gizmodo.

Now, does anyone feel like buying a MacBook Air, or buying another one?
