Just finished watching Summer Nude and Woman. Both drama are awesome especially Summer Nude,I dont really watch romance/love drama but this makes me want to chase every week. Cant wait what kind of drama on next season smile.gif
*
I haven't finished Summer Nude, I kinda like it till ep6 or so...but then it kind of got stale for me. But I'll finish it and see how. smile.gif Woman, on the other hand, is phenomenal for me personally. thumbup.gif I have a thing for depressing, serious, sad stories. And not many human dramas can move people, but that show is touching.

Summer Nude plot is totally predictable haha, so I bet you know whats going on already even watched till ep6 only XD
I have to say the acting in Woman is freakin good, like you said, the awkward look and the expressions totally so damn real.
but still,I expected more "struggles" in this drama Woman lol (how bad I am XD )

I'm currently at ep8 haha...will finish tonight. Yes! The acting is top-notch in Woman, although Fumi Nikaido (Shiori) still has room for improvement, but that's only because she's acting among really really good actors/actresses. Mitsushima Hikari is beyond amazing (I don't expect any less from her), the actress who acted as her mother too, as well as Sloth-san, really love Sloth-san! The thing about Woman is besides the script, their facial expressions/body language play a huge role and you feel for the characters because they're so damn realistic, it's like watching people around you in your everyday life. And I love those awkwardness the characters have which makes them feel less scripted and not too fake. Because, let's face it, in real life, you don't talk so smoothly (like a prepared script).

Ah, you know what...halfway through Woman, I didn't mind the ending (die or survive). But towards the very end, I'm totally rooting for Koharu to just live! I thought she suffered enough hehe...But I somehow can understand why you expect more "struggles" in her life.

BTW, anyone has any idea what camera Asahi uses in SUMMER NUDE? I'm not sure if it's been mentioned before (i probably missed it) but I'm into photography myself so I'm curious, plus they look so vintage!

EDIT:
ah nvm, I found it, it's Hasselblad.

The little girl, Suzuki Rio is like the new Ashida Mana, only I find her the more natural Mana-chan biggrin.gif

Hanzawa is great! Don't worry, I don't get most of the bank stuffs as well, but they'll explain the terms for you in the drama. It's filled with suspense and tension. You'll want to chase every episode because of the cliffhangers. I hope it'll surpass Kaseifu no Mita, it's average rating already higher than Kaseifu. But we'll see if it can pass 40% like Kaseifu. Sakai Masato is a very good actor too. All in all, thumbup.gif Oh just a small warning, some of the villains will have very exaggerating expressions (you might be annoyed) but I find them still tolerable.

I seems to enjoy Summer Nude despite of predictable plot, to me Summer Nude is reminiscence of classic romantic jdrama like Long Vacation and some of scene, the interaction between character make me smile and hook on to them.

Finally finished Saikou no Rikon. It was put off for quite a while, because the subbing was delayed. Carried on tonight coz wanna know the result of the pairing I am shipping for.

SO happy for the ending xD

Summer Nude is indeed very very predictable! sweat.gif But it brings that nostalgic feel, yes, and plus it's summer...it's a feel-good easy going drama.

Hanzawa Naoki is approaching final episode next week. thumbup.gif Intense.

oh yea...THIS

YEEAHHH, watched the final episode of Hanzawa Naoki! Definitely drama of the year! And the viewership rating is above Kaseifu no Mita, made them the top drama of the Heisei era.

And there's a hint on season 2 or something.

Hanzawa Naoki's awesome! Just finished too. The rating's well deserved! Kaseifu imo is not even as good as this (filler episodes with lousy acting not by Nanako but the other co-stars) but Hanzawa Naoki has all-round strong casts and realistic environment. Although I'm wondering is it that harsh till they get shipped out to no man's island if they did sth wrong? Anyways, congratz to Hanzawa Team! I'm all for Season 2 thumbup.gif Oh man, what a shocking end (his appointment) Will definitely get Season 2.

Totally a different type of drama, very very good, hope more of this kind of drama XD
That fellow Kurosagi-san is totally like a Fukunaga-san from Liar Game(the one with spec and in jellyfish/mushroom hair), so many annoying expressions and actions(you know what I mean lol)

PS:my top drama still Liar Game(S1&S2) then this Hanzawa Naoki, thanks god I did not missed this drama! biggrin.gif
