You're better off with an MG Ball... HGUC is simply too small... good to be used as a football if you decide to make a funny diorama though.

Try to get the 08MST Ball as it comes with 2 different cannons for you to choose from, and a funky cable with grappling hook... of course, hot orange might not be everybody's favourite colour although I think it looks better than the normal grey.

Totally agree. The HGUC ball looks like gashapons to me. for MG ver, the mechanical details is fantastic.
Here's my ver KA Ball.

been thinking, how many of u guys do hav a lair to build gundam? i mean to ab, apply putty, hand paint etc etc with proper light & magnifying glass or even a place to hide our new loot so our family/gf/wife will not nag...

When I was staying with my parents last time, I use to do everything in my room. Very small area (imagine I have to squeeze display shelf, figure boxes, computer, bed etc etc into 1 room >_<). But still can make do with a small table. Althou everytime after AB-ing, I have to leave the room door and window open for bout 2 hours just to clear the smell, even with a ventilation fan installed.

Now I got my own place, single story house, I've made a "fake" upstairs by doing some renovation, which gives me an empty space enuff to be a store room cum workshop. Below is the overrall set up.

My parents don;t really complaint about my hobby, since I started this after i started working. And I brought everything with my own money. So far both my parents and gf acknowledge that model kits / figures are not toys. Lucky me that they do understand the collector value of this hobby. But gf do complaint that I spend too much on it sweat.gif especially now that I'm staying with her and the space in the house is mostly taken up by displays. laugh.gif
