Always always always use a pair of cutting pliers instead of using your fingers to pluck the parts out from the runners.
Not only will your completed model kit look better, there'll also be less stress (or injuries) on your fingers.  nod.gif

Sanding the nub marks with sandpaper will just create more scratches on the plastic, unless you intend to paint them.
Otherwise, using a hobby knife or a pen-knife, closely shave the excess parts until they're even and smooth.
Touch-up with the corresponding Gundam Marker color afterwards.

For more information on how to paint your model kit, you can always refer to or ask the gurus here.

Welcome to the Gunpla world, buddy.

but still. it's a long term investment for a tool set rather then getting 1 item at a time. since some item don't sell 1 unless in a set. for example the part remover. <-- this thing i seldom see ppl selling it. unless in tool shop especially for gundam tools. ( but also not rubbery plasticky. some are metal that could really hurt the gunpla)
im not trying to promote this item though.. i hate bandai for variation doh.gif  i got my 1st tool set goreng'ed style. thanks to the "aunty" at TM. so is my PG.

hmm , so hard meh make decision which to get . blink.gif

i'd say you should try to collect money to get a full set of tools. i bought mine rm50. which is expensive & it rust only after 2 weeks of usage. doh.gif  the clipper & the knife. i had to spend money on buying craft blade "olfa" brand. instead of using those conventional "re-loadable" push blade (which i accidentally cut my finger alot when cutting nub marks)

anyway. after seeing gundam evolve gp-03. i now looking for MG gp-03 sweat.gif  doh.gif  kena poison...

so ,should i get the RM 30 set ? i mean the sanguo set .
