i dont know what is so great on RTM (TV1) to be viewed in HD..except for some football (which is already over) and maybe some Asian Games event (which we can see on Astro anyways)..RTM is full of political fights and bickering..i dont like in now in SD and i dont think seeing it in HD will make it more exciting.. 
If they make special channel made by RTM in HD I would be agreed but not current TV1 program. Maybe they fill it with documentary about Malaysia or official occasion/ceremony in Malaysia and news would be great.
