byondPVR can't use external USB harddrive to do recording, it can only record on its internal built-in harddrive

recording fee is RM10/month for byondPVR

recording function for both byond and byondPVR must get activated first by astro before can be used

and they are using 90cm dish for less rain-fade problem

this 90cm dish doesn't look like a home-made diy, more like mass produced by factory

pardon my weak comprehension of english language, must have missed all my english classes during high school years

actually what I wanted to comment is that the installer is very smart by choosing 90cm dish, less complaints from the hotel guests, less service call to the installer, hotel manager is happy, everyone is happy

USB external hard drive "WD My Passport AV 320GB", one shop in penang state is selling for RM243, KL may be much cheaper

according to astro website, upgrade from old astro box to byond PVR is not free, it will cost you RM300

read carefully my picture attachment, for old astro box upgrading to byond PVR:
RM400 if you want to keep your old astro box
RM300 if you return your old astro box get RM100 discount

for byond PVR, RM10/month recording fee is compulsory, in another word you must pay RM10 per month on top of everything else, HD fee of RM20/month is optional though

byond can also do recording, RM5/month fee, you must buy WD my passport AV 320GB usb external hard disk yourself, hard disk will cost you another RM243

one point to note is that for byond, RM20/month HD fee is compulsory

wow, if astro has 2 million subscribers, then we will be paying RM12m easy cash for the government

angry astro subscribers may affect the result of coming election

there is no separate listing of 5% tax in astro bill, so if we have been paying this 5%, where did this 5% go? directly into astro pocket?

you may need the installer to re-align your dish, or replace your byond

there is no 5% tax, so you calculation is correct

in case you haven't noticed, almost everything is made in china, even the iphone/ipad/ipod
