dun forget , in 2015, tv will broadcast in digital...that time, pq is important..

If Star Movies 433 can go HD at the same time as thier SD 413 why then HBO is so grand it needs one hour delay I wonder     I suggest these channels should consider having a  exclusive line up of movies for HD then to screen the same movies on both formats 

Hmm.. I really doubt that our teresterial TV will broadcast 100% in digital on 2015 based on current situation now....   
Probably only RTM will do that... I don't see any sign for our private teresterial TV like TV3, NTV7, 8TV and TV9 broadcasting in digital currently....
I heard that TV3 already started their testing phase by broadcast in digital signal... they chose DMB-T/H as broadcast system....

Hawaii 5-0 Headed to AXN Asia

SINGAPORE: A new output deal between CBS Studios International and SPE Networks – Asia brings Hawaii Five-0 and Blue Bloods, among others, to the region.

The pact covers a range of drama series and reality shows for broadcast on AXN, AXN Beyond and Sony Entertainment Television. "CBS has been our valued partner for over a decade now," said Ricky Ow, senior VP and general manager at SPE Networks – Asia. "Their global hits like the CSI franchise and NCIS: Los Angeles have been the signature series driving ratings across Asia on our flagship channel, AXN.  This partnership underlines our commitment to delivering high-quality, compelling content to our viewers, as they will be able to catch the latest and the freshest CBS drama series first on our channels.”

Hawaii Five-0 premieres in November on AXN. The deal also includes Blue Bloods and The Defenders, among others.

I think not the old 1968 Hawaii Five-O, but new 2010 production Hawaii Five-0 (hawaii five zero)

Or they have feel satisfied with current performance now.
Plus, viewers for that kind of channels also didn't make any respond/request for them to upgrade their transmission method to HD or at least in Digital....  Most viewers feel what they watch on their CRT TV (again CRT TV and using normal antenna) are already good on their eyes....

It is different from us, who are a bit "advance" in terms of technology... we feel all of television station should migrate to Digital and HD broadcasting...

It is the fastest software encoder/decoder for Full HD resolution in the world. Ultra-fast delay time of 13ms per frame, and it supports up to 75fps in Full HD. Open264-D:
By optimizing memory bandwidth usage for higher performance, Open264-D can decode up to 40 channels of D1(720x480) resolution on i5 750 CPU. i am thinking about subscribing to astro byond. I hear my friend say that using his astro byond decoder can use internet by connecting through the ethernet cable to his computer. Can any of you sifu confirm this, is it even possible?

for 16:9 HD test card, may be RTM will use this one instead (widescreen capable Philips Pattern generator  PM5644)

get yourself a dvb-s2 HD decoder(china is selling for RMB600 per set) + C-band LNB and 1.5m prime focus satellite dish 

so now the test are ongoing rite?

But Media Prima is not getting away free either. Just because they are testing using DMB-T because it's cheaper, doesn't mean that's the one that RTM will choose. Media Prima and Astro are bound by the fact that they are leasing the airwaves from the government. So if RTM wants to go DVB-T2, that will be the defacto digital standard for Malaysia's OTA broadcast. And so far, I believe the Malaysian standard was set at DVB2.
