how come some of my channel upper side had white spot? Somebody had this problem?

i try to setup my astro beyond remote control to my tv, it only can turn off my television but cant control the volume. i using panasonic full hd 42" u29. anybody can help?

sure can, they got how much sd channels ar? lets say 100

so everytime they want to launch a new hd channel, they reduce 100kbps on each sd channels, cant notice much diff right? lol

100x100 = 10000kbps = 10Mbps, tada 1 new hd channel, ahahahah

or maybe they wana compress the hell out of hd channels, that 10Mbps could cater 2 HD channels lol

Any method to know astro current bandwidth for HD channel?

Astro is not showing F1 Singapore Live in HD channel, very disappointed.

Got the same problem with my Sony Bravia. Now i can control the volume. You need to press and hold OK and Vol+ together till you get 2 blinks. Then you are all set.

Pls note that both these channels are shown as  IN HOUSE channels with content provided by channels concerned.............

what kind of subtitles? closed captioned?

astro is using KU band for its broadcast, and KU band required dish with millimeter accuracy, multi-segment dish usually used for C-band is not accurately constructed for use with KU band

generally KU band dish required one piece dish construction to achieve the required millimeter accuracy

because astro is authorized to use ku band only for tv broadcast in malaysia

byond is using dvb-s2, should be able receive both KU and C-band signal, but byond is hard-coded to receive signal from measat satellites' KU transponders only.
