Actually, if i had Hauppauge HD-PVR + HDFury (which i'm not), i might be able to do so.

Im writing a complaint to ASTRO.. this is too much!
I subscribe to ASTRO BEYOND solely to enjoy football in HD.

Im a crazy football fan, kudos to ASTRO showing most of the high profile EPL matches in HD but..

NOT SHOWING BARCELONA's matches in HD? wtf man! All of Barcelona matches this season was not shown in HD, even tomorrow's match Barcelona vs Atletico Madrid will not be shown in HD, instead they use the time slot to show "RED BULL NY" ...

Is there a conspiracy here...

It's actually FOX Family Movies [SD 4:3], not FOX Movies ...STAR MOVIES HD should come to Astro....probably they are still sorting out censorship/1 hr delay matters - just keep hounding them .....here are the channels that launched last Thu Sept. 16 including SM On Demand [SD 4:3]. Cheers!

ah, so long not use astro normal version epg guide remainder. What is the meaning of 'program your system' when i select a show in epg, eg. Rookie blue s1 in diva universal tmr in 6pm. Anyone using normal astro often? And if the info bar popup, what is the meaning of these two button?

1. Program to record some channels - NOT recorded saying some error
2. Some channel recorded - playback halfway - stuck - timer moving but picture stuck
3. Cannot upgrade firmware still on June 02 firmware

You are on Ext HDD? asking for AK to call you back is like asking for the sky to rain RM50 notes. Not entirely impossible but it's a super duper long shot.

I complained before and accepted the RM5 waiver till the problem is solved. Meaning I will not be paying anything extra for the recording till the software download fix the issue. I think its enough considering I can still have programs that I can record fine.

Just so you know, Ext HDD software fix is not yet ready. Zoned kinda stuck till Astro give a new software.

I like that two HD channel... But of cource, it'll be better if we had Discovery HD & NHK World (HD) too.

But there is no mythbusters on Discover HD World. The programs aired are boring in this channel. A bit different from discovery channel that we have. Go check the guide on Starhub website. Maybe that's why astro doesn't want to take this channel.

i'll be very surprised if astro even acknowledge ur complaint..its an issue that has been around ever since LIVE European football was brought in to Malaysia..sometimes ur team will be on LIVE sometimes it wont..the most probable respond u will get from Astro is that the matches picked to be shown on their channels are based on what matches are shown by their broadcast partners in Europe..

n to show u that sometimes ur team is shown and sometimes they wont, Barcelona's match at home against Sporting Gijon on wednesday night early Thursday morning will be live in HD at 1.55 am..hope ur happy..

Added on September 19, 2010, 2:23 amquite true..there are those who have demanded Discovery HD to be brought in, do not realise that they wont see the exact same thing seen on Discovery HD as they see on the normal Discovery channel..one example that is true enough is Mythbusters..although the programme has been shot in HD, i believe it has yet to be shown on Discovery HD..correct me if im wrong..

i bet u if astro bring in Discovery HD now, we will then here sounds of complaints of y certain programmes are not shown on the channel..and astro will still get the blame..hahaha..hard to please everybody i guess..
