QUOTE(munkeyflo @ Jan 14 2011, 11:06 AM) QUOTE(Shazzac @ Jan 14 2011, 12:13 PM) Yes, it's probably because paypal is not widely used in Malaysia itself. i wont bother to use paypal if i can make the CC go through the payment :/Can just use credit card, debit card or direct debit. im using mum's CC with every details are correct and it just decline my payment..i have the same case when i trying to buy from melb-kl with her CC at last few months..when i try pay using paypal(with same CC details) and it went through.. i suspecting the address of card holder is incorrect but when i look back at the billing address, is the same.. i duwan to delay the payment because i scared the price will hike up.. |

looks like AA gonna charge passenger RM10 for every check-in
QUOTE KUALA LUMPUR: No frills airline, AirAsia Bhd, will charge a RM10 check-in fee per passenger for all flights whose bookings are made from Sept 21 onwards via conventional check-in counters. The airline said the additional charge was part of its plan to aggressively grow revenue through ancillary income and services, instead of transferring the full cost, amid escalating jet fuel prices to its passengers. However, the charge is not applicable for passengers opting for self check-in. “Passengers may enjoy quicker and more convenient ways of checking-in via web on www.airasia.com, or mobile through apps on Blackberry, iPhone and Android devices,” said AirAsia in a statement today. The apps can be downloaded by searching for the keyword “AirAsia” in the Blackberry App World, iTune App Store and Android Marketplace. Web and mobile check-in are available upon flight booking confirmation and up to one hour before scheduled departure for AirAsia flights. For AirAsia X, check-in will be available upon flight booking confirmation and up to four hours before scheduled departure. This fee applies to all AirAsia domestic and international flights originating from airports in Malaysia. As for AirAsia X, counter check-in charges will apply for flights departing from the airline’s base in Kuala Lumpur and at all airports the airline operates except in Tokyo (Haneda) and Osaka (Kansai) in Japan, Seoul (Incheon) in South Korea and Tehran (Iran). http://www.freemalaysiatoday.com/2011/08/1...0-for-check-in/ |

QUOTE(Shazzac @ Aug 17 2011, 11:21 PM) I guess AA just wants to encourage the passengers to make use of their online/self check in kiosk so they won't have hire more manpower since there are more and more ppl flying with them... bear in mind that not all routes accept online check in(like kl-melbourne). but is just RM10 so not really matter for meI guess I'll have to check in online from now onwards to avoid that fee. QUOTE(Earl9rey @ Aug 18 2011, 02:03 AM) how to register become the member of air asia x? i want to take package to osaka, but i saw if become air asia x member the price a lot more cheaper...D: can someone help me?confused @,@ there is a membership for AAX??thought the membership covers all? |

QUOTE(drakulaed @ Aug 20 2011, 01:48 AM) Seriously dudes, I'm really pissed with AirAsia. How many services do they wanna charge me for la? Wanna check-in, gotta pay. Wanna book online, gotta pay. Wanna call customer service, gotta pay. Wanna this, gotta pay, wanna that, gotta pay. What else? Next time they better start charging if I wanna use the toilet or use the foldable table la! =_____= if you don't like AA, you still have many other choices.. no one force you go for AA |

QUOTE(Glamourousfit @ Aug 21 2011, 09:16 PM) U work for AA ahhh And they can't make the booking via online too if they don't have such devices. I can say MOST of the people above 40 years old buy the ticket through travel agents or from their children and can ask back them to check-in online too. Well choosing specific seat is what you WANT or it is a priority to you otheriwse they assign for you. Getting biz class or first class is also WHAT U WANT and can afford. But check in counter charge ppl at RM10, it is a need extend it ...this is quite unreasonable .Not everyone has a pc, iphone or printer in their household. I knw it is free to chk in via KIOSK what if it is down. So all force to counter check in n charged RM10 for those withouth pre-checked in. They can even shut down all the kiosk that day n say it is down ...make a quick buck out of everyone expenses. Today they say RM10...next few months they will impose RM15 and the next few months ...RM20...RM25.... so on Same goes for the baggage.....I guess they have not make up their mind from RM5 to RM45 for 15kg bag Convenient fee from RM5 - RM8 Wonder how they justify the charges.....???!!!! Also, nearly all(or the majority) people buy their tickets via online and "shouldn't" have any problem by check-in via online too. And you won't expect the price will remain the same or no extra cost for next few years right? Even nowadays a roti canai need more than RM1 to get it. But if can get the best deal(like $0 fare), what is RM10 for you? Just my 2 cents.... |

QUOTE(meat @ Aug 21 2011, 11:23 PM) Hi, first time traveler/flier here. Will be using AirAsia. Economy class. I've booked my ticket with the option for only hand luggage. I've got a few general questions... If you bring laptop on board, then you need to take it out and scanWill they open my carry on hand luggage for checking? Can a regular traveling bag (about 60cm x 30cm) be considered hand luggage? Will it fit in the overhead compartment? On the plane, are we allowed to use handphone to listen to music/ take photos? How big are the seats? Like car seats(Wira?) Any photos of the interior? (Google has failed to provide interior of economy class) me and most of the people using handphone to listen music or take photo when i did the first search and here is the result:(google or you who failed?) http://www.google.com.au/search?hl=en&cp=1...=og&sa=N&tab=wi but it depends which flight(different flight has different size) |
