Need to check on the check-in luggage.

I've book flights individually for 2 person with 2 booking confirmation number but both flying on the same flight and we will have to online check-in separately (since online check-in only able to check-in 1 booking number at once). When we drop off our baggage at airport, each with 20kg luggage capacity which means 40kg for both, can AA take in ONLY 1 luggage with 40kg for 2 separate bookings on the same flight?

airport 1st timer here, wonder what to do at the airport.
after online check-in (boarding tickets are printed) , straight to the luggage drop off > security > wait for plane departure
is that correct?
p/s: can i bring a laptop bag and another bag into the cabin? which means 2 bags
*
Ya, luggage drop off, security, immigration, departure hall wait for plane.
Please make sure you keep your boarding pass until you've come back from your trip. Don't throw it away cause sometimes you might still need it.

Shouldn't be a problem to bring a laptop bag and another bag as long as you don't exceed the weight.
My bf usually brings a camera bag and a backpack.

Hello all,
i have a few questions here..

Is there any regulations on carrying LIQUID on HAND luggage for DOMESTIC flight?

Me and my friends r going to Langkawi from LCCT soon, i read the regulations on hand luggage but it is stated there for "INTERNATIONAL BOUND PASSENGERS" so i'm wondering does this apply to domestic flight too?

if yes what's the regulations like? 1Litre or 100ml in total on hand carry?
because i'm planning to bring all my cleanser, toner+make up stuff

AND the problem is, it was my VERY clever friend who booked the air ticket and he did not add any check in luggage upon booking, so we have to carry all the liquids in hand.

So now can we still add on check in luggage thru online?

1) They wont stop you if carry any amount of liquid for domestic.
2) Yes, you can add and pay for check in luggage through "Manage my booking" at AA website

They will not allow you to check in only 1 luggage for 2 separate booking number. If you want to combine your luggage weight, it have to be the same booking number.

I wanna ask something. Quite urgent actually since those stupid & bas tard Airaisa customer service people cannot answer it.

I booked a hot seat (1C) but in the travel Itinerary, never stated Xpress Boarding. So meaning I have to queue up with normal seat people?

Usually all the hot seat booking will go first to the plane right? After 10 minutes then only normal seat booking will go.

So how about my case?

There's no more Xpress Boarding after they introduced seat selection. You still need to queue like normal even if you purchased a hot seat.

Hi, am new here ! Just want to know :

Is AA very strict with the size & weight of carry-on baggage ( for domestic flights) ? Does ladies' handbag count as baggage?

Thanks!

Same question here for international flights.

The cabin baggage (as stated on the label by manufacturer) seems to easily go over the 7kg limit by AA when they are full. Will they specifically pinpoint the passengers using this kind of cabin baggage and weight them?

If overweight, will the passenger be asked to return to the luggage check in counter OR they can pay for the RM40 (for 15 kg) at the departure gate?

Do they allow one cabin baggage and one sling bag (document bag)?

Thanks smile.gif

You are so wrong. Hot seat come automatically with Xpress Boarding. Once you purchased hot seat, you queue lane will be separated from normal seat (As in side by side). They will give hot seat a 10 minutes start to walk in the plane first. After that only the normal seat will be released (10 minutes later).

I already called up AA CS yesterday to verify.

Funny. In my case, I managed to carry 2 hand luggage more then 7kg to the plane without any interrogation tongue.gif . Plus a hot stewardess help me to carry some rclxms.gif . AA so not consistent rclxub.gif

I have some problem with the booking for my friend 2-3 month ago. What I do, just email their CS. After day 3, they already edit that and notify me via emails.

I need yr advice - I want to book a return flight to Kota Bharu & there is a RM 50 difference btwn AA & MAS ( AA price with seats selected but excludes other add-ons & no check-in baggage).....which is a better option? There is also a rm12 convenience fee if pay by credit card for AA - is there such charges for MAS ?

Depends on your budget and preferences. If I were you, I would choose MAS. No convenient/baggage fees for MAS.
