I seem to remember that Malaysian youth teams have always done well at the international level. It shows that we do have the raw talent. Sadly, it hardly ever translates into success at the senior level. I attribute this to a failure of the football setup as a whole in Malaysia. There's too much "short term"-ism involved

FYI : kedah won both Piala Menteri Pelajaran (league, which held around 3-4 months) for
