Added on December 3, 2010, 1:27 pmwon a 1600 diamond zerg at metalopolis today.....but im trying to convince myself i won not because he resisted to out muta XD its in custom game tho....maybe he want to try to win a terran without muta....XDD

what i tried in that game, reactored marine hellion turtle in base, throw a scan at my....2nd/3rd 50 mana? saw he transfering drone, i noe he is just building up his econ, i throw down my expo and push out with marine hellion. saw alot of static defence (5+ spine and lings). now i know he is turtling in 2 base to build up econ for a massive push (i thought was muta) so start to produce medivec start to drop rines and hellions at his base to keep him in his foot (+ his statis defence got no use against drops) and i start to build up siege tanks, raven, marauders.....while still constantly pressuring with marine and hellions with drops....then i put a hellion at all possible 3rd expo position, and use all my force to deny his 3rd. use all i can to deny 3rd....and a 3rd is very important to zerg so he kept on trying to get 3rd also...he tried 3-4 times and i noe i won adi after denying 3 times.....cuz he is desperate for money but he cant make it...while i adi have 3 bases and building up my 4th....basically i just wait him to starve and push me with ultras, den bam, massive push and won.

tl:dr, in tvz i think my new mindset is

-pressuring with early units (drops, hellions, rines) to keep him on his foot + full map control with hellions
-dun lose in economy, my natural expo must be up, then i can support splinter ambush + bunkers siege tanks to defend myself.
-winning point, wait him go for 3rd (a sign he is starving) then destroy his 3rd at all cost. then take a 3rd urself.
afterall, he didnt out muta so i think my statements will be harder to do if they went muta XD need about 2 turrents and thors to defend...=(

tldr, i read the note point only.

It really depends on how good is the zerg, mayb when u started to play wif 2.0~2.2k diamond zerg then u will feel the pressure. But anyhow, taking out zerg is all bout timing.

cuz its like, you need to go for a specific build to win 1-1-1, but ur opponent can just fake a 1-1-1 and punish you.

a nice little TvP build for fellow terran brethen.

1 rax gas build, hide ur 2nd rax at far end of ur base. float ur 1st rax away and make reactor. make a bunker in front, show only marines at ur ramp. 2nd rax wif techlab research stimpack, then grenade. push out at 50 food with 10 scv.

if the protoss went for a 1 gate fe into robo, impossible he can hold.
