Rule of thumb: Zerg always need to have one base more than Protoss and Terran to keep up.

It's not like they want to FE, they just need to do that. And if Protoss or Terran have one base less, it's actually pretty normal. But if you PP, it's pretty abnormal.

SCVs are imba because they have the same hp as Marines and have auto-repair function.

Most of the times Zerg will expand at mineral field. But there are several circumstances where Zerg will put one more hatch at own base.

1) If Zerg's choke point has been blocked by two bunkers (Terran) or two Pylons and a Cannon (Toss) and cannot go out to natural to expand early game, he is forced to hatch at his own base for more unit production.

2) Zerg wants to have rapid map control i.e. more creep spread without using a lot of Queen's creep tumor.

3) The hatch at own base is easier to defend against opponent's aggression.

But mostly it's because of the unit production part.

Hmm... you actually use Mutaling in ZvP? I thought ZvP is all about massing roaches and hydras and go kill your opponent.

Terran don't need strategy. They just play MMM every game no matter who their opponent is.

That thread is actually already so outdated and inactive until I need to make a search for it. Guess too few players playing terran nowadays. in one game a zerg player even told me: "hi glhf, thanks for not being a zerg."

Cancelling a hatchery = 75 minerals lost
Building an useless Evo Chamber = 75 minerals
One drone = 50 minerals

Plus the lost mining time.

Just to block a Nexus, really?

Oh ya, Spanishiwa is pretty much over-rated.

For a Zerg player, what you normally do is click on the map preferences and make sure Delta Quadrant is one of the maps vetoed. It's a stupid map for Zerg players to play on due to wide open natural, backdoor rocks, short rush distance even if spawn cross, and high ground abuse.

That's not a bug. If Terran is able to lose a game, well, now there's a bug.

What map editors do nowadays, just put a neutral depot at bottom of every ramp to prevent early building placement.

That is, provided he even says gg in a ladder game. He did, but only when he is winning and his opponents say it first. Oh wait, IdrA did ever respect his opponents? I never know that.
