Anyone is trying the ice fisher build? It seems pretty good to me, and holds off protoss aggression easily. Not Terran though. I have one question, how many extra hatch (not mining) do you guys build?

Due to the large amount of minerals from the ice fisher build, I seem to always have 3k minerals and no larvae. If hatcheries are built, do you build at expansions?

I usually get gas around 52, with a few supply of lings and 4 queens. I usually make lings to delay for upgraded infestors, but the larvae just cant keep up with only 2 hatch. Maybe I'll try making another hatch after the double evos...

Hey guys, I just had a match with a toss. He has 20 sentries and around 10 stalkers... my roaches cant support my zerglings and the zerglings gets destroyed easily. I went muta but he then massed up on stalkers. Forget about mid game, around the 12 minute mark, how do I counter this?
It feels really bad not to be able to break that endless wall blocking all entry to his gold expo, even on Shattered temple...and its kinda easy to harrass gold expos usually
I usually dont do muta until mid 20's...

On the replay, 19 sentries after killing some with my lings...
I started with roach harras, so he went cannons and sentries

Lol at my accidental BM at the end of the replay...but you should be able to see sentries hitting 20's around mid game..http://www.mediafire.com/?cipn7njsg1ar7jq

It wasn't a fast expand, but he built a forge first instead of gateway... I was confused of whether to go hydras or mutas, I scouted robo bay, so I went mutas...apparently it didnt work out too well...

I was abit reluctant going hydras since i had no creep spread(was occupied with scouting)
Will my hydras work with the insane amount of ff? I only had 2 corruptors which by accident, killed both of his collosi without me noticing
Guess I was pretty stupid ...

Its my specialty(?) to attack from multiple directions...
I kept the main army busy by running lings to their death, but mutas were killing workers. I also learnt that, never gg out of a game >.< you never know when desperate mass lings will win the game for you...

Aaaah, the much debated question...
For me, I dont really count how much drones per base, I just see if there are 2 or more drones zigzagging, I'll just transfer the extra to another base...

The insane AI gains 7 minerals per cycle, but only 5 minerals is reduced from the patch

Just played 1v1 on insane AI, its not bad...
On Xel'Naga I did proxy hatch then mass spines, worked out well
On steppes of war, mass speedlings -> Infestor speedling -> Hydra infestor

The NA server has lots of cheese...toss always opens with cheese, except like one out of 4 who plays a standard game.

Mutas for me are just to buy me time for teching to I guess BL/ultra or complete upgrades

In the late game I personally think any race is able to increase worker extremely quickly, and I think day9 has touched on that before...I guess you can pick off pylons or depots at far away places not guarded by turrets

Despite all that random stuff, killing gas/workers in gas at least is my highest priority biggrin.gif
