yeah, delta quadrant is the worst map for zerg. along side wif steppes of war. but if u can get into mid game on cross position, its still quite nice for muta harrass cuz the 3 mineral patches are near. but just dont.

1 of the rare gem of good ZvT on delta quadrant is Fruitdealer vs Rainbow on Delta Quadrant in GSL 1 final. FD shows u how to play zerg on delta quadrant.

u mean spanishiwa gasless build? umm....i think u need to make quite a number of queens and spines (eats mineral but doesnt eat larvae) so u shouldnt have too many money yawn.gif and when u have a healthy amount of drone, get gas, den u will realize u dun have that many mineral anymore. a fully saturated base can support 2 hatch wif 2 queens if u r ONLY making zergling because they are too cheap -.-. but u r going to make higher tech units later on so 3 hatch for 2 base is a pretty good number.

DRG : I play Zerg, they are good at defense. Zerg is just the defend race, losing to a rush again and again makes ability in defending very strong.

played 31 ladder as zerg today.....Zerg tears from close spawn T.T

lol, i know, but blizzard didnt bother to do that. anyway its 12 now, and i had 44 games since 9am. 25 was ZvZs in SEA server whats up?

maybe its time for me to go back to Lolder gang adi. was casualling wif zerg because lost too many TvP. SIAPA TAHU ZvP JUGA OP.


Added on June 27, 2011, 4:28 pmit takes 21 baneling to kill a 3 armor 3 shield archon.

only 19 to kill 1 planetary fortress. and minus 1 baneling for each attack upgrade....

hmm...i didnt try it myself, read it on 1000 tips in teamliquid and found it utterly funny archon actually tanks more than PF...

but planetary can at least give out 1 shot to blings b4 blings reach....archon can splash 1 hit alot of banes but his range is only 3 so i think those banelings will still deal some dmg to the archon itself. hence no wasted banes.

depends on your larvae. if you are saving up larvae, you can save up resources. IMO 1 of the most important lesson a zerg must learn...

etc. u wna make 6 phatogen gland infestor when its 3/8 researching, so you need to save up the amount of larvae, resources and make sure u have enuf ovie for that. same for ultra, muta, etc....


early game (5-8 minuteish) when u r juggling between droning and making lings, its ok to save up larvae and resources if u havent get ur scouting info. then make ling if u scout aggression, make drone if u scout FE....

cuz u always want to make drone without dying.....if u make too many lings in early game, it actually hurts alot as u have very little larvae to spend off 2 base u want them to be drone.

well, i agrees idra's gg timing, its a kind of respect to your opponent, showing him that u respect him as a great player that he will play perfectly and nvr let go the huge advantage he has...*and go on to the next match in a boX without wasting energy/expose weakness and be depressed for unnessasary amount of time*

but in ladder.....your opponent is not progamer, they will f***ed up some serious stuff for you to catch up....if you know how to grab the chance.

well, its a good habit to highlight and make sure your drone count is at least 2 bar.....

or if you ctrl click, there should be at least 16 + 4 drones at gas (2 will not be highlighted)

what im doing right now is......2 base, get roach warren, get about 5-7 roach to make a defensive wall...can use evo chamber and queen position to help. then crazy drone + get third and spire/bling nest to anticipate the tank marine push coming soon....

make only the minimal amount of roach to fend off the BFH, cuz roaches got no other fking use in ZvT.

well, im a noob tho so there might be a btr way to defend it. however, unless your micro is 1-2 league higher than ur opponent, you prolly need roaches to fend off BFH.

to die to sieged tanks fire...well, if you are super ahead in food count then its another story.

i think multipronged drops are what zergs need to start doing. 200/200 and 100/100 1 time expense compare to medivac's price per unit, its really worth it, just that the researching time for 200/200 is super long most of the time it signifies a huge commitment in tech path.

load up blings to clear mineral line, load up 2-3 ovie worth of cracklings or roaches can wreck the hell out of the production facility point.
