for me,if i'm on ZvZ,i'd scare my opponents into thinking i do ling rush...then i build up 6-7 banelings,then i push my way towards his mineral line.

if he attack with his lings (usually poor micro by sending mass lings to kill my banelings).. then majority of his army dies..

if he just ignore the banelings, i straight go to his mineral line. 3-4 of them at the line,& i can bag at least 6 drone kills.. my opponent usually being overconfident with spine crawlers & queens to kill my banelings, but actually it hasten the death of their drones...

& oh yeah,queens make an excellent bait for those rush-in lings to aim 1st...so make lots of them biggrin.gif

i once fought against a top 100 grandmaster terran.
he did exactly the marine+tank composition.
he actually spread the marines far apart.only 7-8 of them clumped with a tank. tank-hopping towards my expo & building misile turrets along the way.place them far apart,& walla.an unbreakable attack line from any zerg focused attack,where whatever you do will obviously resulted in premature gg.

i still got no counter to this for a low-level player like me.broodlords maybe viable,but 3-4 vikings (or stimmed marines) are sufficient enough to kill them outright.

how to stop 4-6,7 rax opening with marines+marauders 8,9 minutes into the game?

i can scout them proper,but constant stream of those bios plus banelings r darn expensive to make,esp. me just getting started to saturate my expo.

i kept losing to this sort of aggression.my win-lose rate against this sort of push already at 1-16.since then,i kept getting matched up with bronze players in ladder (thus showing my absurd incompetence in 1v1)

thnx 4 the answer quest...but the last map i kena dis 6 rax mass bio was on delta quadrant.close spawn,so...u can figure that out...
& mostly the terran will put marauders in front.if i just 1A,surely banelings will hit those marauders,wasting the splash dmg..& the 1st wave would be like 12 marines 4 marauders with stim done...forced me to rage quit,since i cant even prep a decent army of banelings sad.gif

that's it...i even lose to a lowly bronze newbie!

my recent losses while using zerg shows the inability to attack & defend..lemme curl meself at the corner of a dark room & cry till i'm sober again..

u can just bait him to waste sentries.may take quite a while though..
& do harass or atk at multiple points.if u cant atk mineral lines,atk production buildings.some critical pylons would be very devastating if destroyed..

if that happens,mass ghost play will pop up

imagine,ghost can emp all AOE,uncloak all,snipe as well..

cheap on gas.expensive on minerals? mules took care of that..
cloak...had to use high graphics then can see the cloak shape.
with the EMP range farther than NP (10 vs 7)
& Snipe range almost similar to Siege Tank range (11 with vision,think O.command scan)

another OP unit arrives...

extractor trick to 11 drones + 1 extractor
11 overlord
12 evo chamber
12 pool
research melee +1 when gas collected at 140
pull drones off gas when gas at 100,start speedlings research
16 queen + 1 spine at mineral line
18 overlord
2 pairs of lings after overlord hatches + 1 drone
inject larva after queen pops out instantly
20/21 2 more overlord
drones until 24
1 pair of lings MUST deny any scout lings.another pair control watch tower + scout (probably when enemy at x-position). should be easy since speed is done by then..

1.if scouted roach warren/fast lair/FE,mass em lings.should be enough to overwhelm them
2.if scouted banelings/bane nest,either bait suicide...or separate attacks here n there in teams of 4-6 lings.target priority would be queens & drones collecting gas
3.if scouted nice town planning by the enemy i.e. strategic spines...... go for triple expand & saturate main.dont go mutas,as the enemy would kinda expecting that.

btw,it works moderately on lower leagues.dunno about the top tier lvl
