Dear All Sifus,

This is my maiden post! Hope to hear your opinions. I'm planning to get my 1st home theatre for my new condo. I have shortlisted 3 speaker systems.

1) Aego T
2) Epos AVS 5.1
3) QAcoustics 2000 series 5.1 (graphite)

Music/Movie = 60/40

I have listened all of the above and they are almost the same price range. I like the design of Aego T as well as the Epos and i think Epos is more musical compare to Aego T. For QA, I guess bcoz the won whathifi recommendation . However, I can't decide which to get. I also plan to pair them with Denon 1610 / 1910.

What do you think? Which would you choose and why?

how much?

I'm willing to spend RM3.5-RM4k for the speakers system alone. As for AVR, around RM2k plus.

I like Aego T design as well.

Had the AVS before and I must its a bargain if you can get it below RM3k. Balanced performance and nice built quality.

if u asked me earlier i would have sold it to you:) If you're keen you may look for a friend of mine who took in my unit. Perfect condition If not mistaken brand new promo price is RM3500

How much did you sell ur AVS? How old unit? Why did u sell them? Does ur friend wanted to sell them again?

At that price, u might want to drop by A&L Audio. Check out PSB home theater packages for your price range. The PSB Alpha bookshelves are a steal for the price. A&L Audio has few locations for your convenience - Bangsar, Sg. Wang, Amcorp Mall.

I read an excellent review for Alpha 5.1 (with 2 B1, 2 LR1, C1 & sub 5i). Almost perfect review!

However, do you think the PSB Alpha Intro 5.1 (with 4 x LR, LCR & sub1) is still good and worth the money spent? I prefer the front 2 in smaller size (ie. aego t / Epso AVS) due to space limitation, so will probably wall mount them.
