Roach should be at least a Tier 2 unit now, with that ridiculous range. Or else the cost of roaches should at least be increased. I didn't know roaches were so cheap until recently. sleep.gif

2. 100/75 (75/25 is hax)
3. remove their 1 armor

btw something i discovered yesterday, halucinated zealot cant charge anymore...
was doing day9's 1 unit mass sentry and even wit charge tech they cant charge now =(

wanna know why are VR nerfed?
great, a non-toss main race user send u a replay and it gets nerfed...
might as well send replays on how roaches are roflstomping now and get them nerfed...
how bout the polt timing atk?

Q. Recent patch changed how Void Rays work?
A. A Korean progamer, who played a Protoss although his main race isn't Protoss, sent us a replay showing a weakness of opponents in a certain specific period of time when a Protoss is using a Void Ray. Through the replay, we gave Void Ray the change that it received.

why are zealot nerfed?
cause silver leaguers cant handle proxy zeal and now high lvl toss suffer from their early pressure

A. We take teamplay seriously as well as 1v1. Recent 1.1.2 patch changed Reapers. While Reapers had no problem in 1:1, if you look at the top of the 2:2 team ranks, almost half of them are Terran+Zerg, and they all use Reaperling. This problem is same in NA as well as in Korea. This means that you can't succeed all that well in teamplay unless you play a Terran+Zerg combination, so we try to fix it if the problem is as big as that. If not, then we try to balance around 1:1.
Also, forward proxy gate Zealot rush was popular for a bit after release. This didn't get much use among the top players, but it was near impossible to stop at silver-level play. So we pondered how to fix this balance issue without affecting top players, and in the end, we decided to increase the time required to build Zealots to get it balanced.

not 8 to normal? ......level 1 = 6 level 2 = 8 no?

how bout level 3? ....VR animation is still consist of 3 level .....

eh my bad, 8 to normal...
6 is phase 1...

Against non-armored targets
Stage 1: 6(+1) dmg / 0.6sec = 10.00 dps (+1.67 per upgrade)
Stage 2: 6(+1) dmg / 0.6sec = 10.00 dps (+1.67 per upgrade)
Stage 3: 8(+1) dmg / 0.6sec = 13.33 dps (+1.67 per upgrade)
Against armored targets
Stage 1: 10(+1) dmg / 0.6sec = 16.67 dps (+1.67 per upgrade)
Stage 2: 10(+1) dmg / 0.6sec = 16.67 dps (+1.67 per upgrade)
Stage 3: 16(+2) dmg / 0.6sec = 26.67 dps (+3.33 per upgrade)

animation have 3 stages but its only 2 lvl of charges...
stage 1 and 2 = lvl 1
stage 3 = lvl 2
been like this since the end of beta...
they are just lazy to change the animation...

yup was 3 lvl during beta but after tonnes of QQ, it was changed to 2 lvl and range reduces (which is a bit 1 sided considering banshee's 7 range and vikings's 9 range)

haha. yeah. if Roach tier 2 then bye bye liao. forced to upgrade the hatchery first then only roach warren.

Yeah..teir 2 roach too nerf.

Prefer to make them more exp so they cant spam so many roach early game.

100/25 should be fair.
