Watched the replay.

Honestly only one glaring mistake that I would not have done. Everything else I would have either did the same or worse.

-Your probes did not mine at the expansion. You waited until your expansion nexus was up.

-I would have invested in charge. Allows me to mineral dump and make a legit difference in battles.

Other than that, MMM is really difficult for non-Terran. Was thinking of going HTs as well but teching for both Collusus and HT... takes a big toll on gas...

=(. Will Blizzard answer our Toss calls!!! T_T

hold shift g then click on the 2nd layer of hydras...
of course u need some decent ground army as well unless u are nony that can go pure phoenixes >.<

*
Oh thanks. I'll try that again. smile.gif
I was so busy trying to micro the phoenix that I just let my ground army auto attack haha.
Kinda screwed up battle for the last 3 games I had against zerg.
They must be laughing at what I was trying to do with my phoenix. tongue.gif

Haha yea. Most of the games I won against that army was with VRs.
Just the latest one I don't know what to do. He turtled in base with siege tanks and marauders and the air was full of vikings. What do you think? Phoenix? Sounds like the only viable option until he saw it and filled his base with missile turrets haha. I was like crap... how do I break this shell now...

I'll try with the 2 stargates. I was with only one. Maybe that's why I could not get enough of them to kill my zerg opponent.
Only had 3 when army clashed. tongue.gif

no wonder ur phoenix was not working lol...
u need to pump em a lot...
they are pretty insane in masses...

as for VRs, its highly dependent on the opponent...
since i had a very very bad start, i'm force to go the VR route...
usually i rather go with the chargelot/ HTs as it renders their viking useless...

@ excript
be aggressive...
when u have ur warpgate out, u can reinforce anywhere in the map as long as u have a pylon/warp prism...
thus u can produce continuous pressure...

Haha yea. I'll try to go chargelot/ht route and see how it goes against terran.
Seems quite powerful, easily lost my entire army in the dig mission just because of a few high templars casting storms.

When i see tanks i'll go Simcity mode. If terran failed his timing push i'll also go simcity mode. Most of my PvT game is simcity. I don't go aggro early game because concussive shell is one retarded ability. It makes retreating impossible.

I think PvT is balanced mid/late game(ok maybe its due to my opponent being bad). The key unit is chargelots, immortals and HT. Occasionally i may get colly if i think i wont be able to fend off his push with just gateway units and immortals. Late game i just spam pylons all over the map. This will allow me to warp units all over the map. It'll also give you vision on incoming drops.

how do you guys deal with mass banshees? mass stalkers? mass phoenix? seeing as observer move speed is super slow, half the time can't chase the banshees very far.

I use 2 gate robo against terran, 1 ob on his ramp and 2 immortal bombard his wall, kinda effective.

yay just won against a turtling terran with 122 games played in silver league. i basically just didn't assault him, but camp outside his base to deny him his expansion, while i had one expansion + one on yellow minerals. eventually just mass tons of units and charge in. damn proud lol, cos i'm in bronze with only ~30 odd games smile.gif

@juzjoe the thing is, if i don't chase and kill, i need to leave quite a bunch of ground units back at base so i can only assault with remainder portion, because banshees are faster than ground ... so ...

anyway today played 7 lost 5 looool doh.gif ... but overall still +27 points up ... dunno how that's calculated ...

[edit2] watched replay, at the end of the game i had 5000 minerals so wow my macro/spending needs TONS of work ...

The zerg was like a blur haha. Really don't know what he is building. 3 expansions already and the amount of units he had was still so little.
He had at most one drone for each mineral patch it seems. sweat.gif

Added on September 5, 2010, 9:38 amJust tried the chargelot/ht route.
Was incredible. Even with 2 HT, I almost decimated his entire army.
The problem was I only had 2 HT. laugh.gif

I need to get a few more and it should clear his army. tongue.gif
Colossus was great also. I'm still not used to microing it though.
Kept going in front and getting it killed.
Think I need to set it to one group to micro it properly.

@evofantasy
Think I understand now about the phoenix.
I was pressing G and clicking on each hydra so I end up lifting all the hydras and not killing any. tongue.gif
Now use shift G to queue the lifting, it worked better. Having 4 was great. 6 was definitely powerful. It worked wonders against the terran siege tanks too haha. As they can move so fast, shot them through the army to their back and lift and snipe.
