I think there is no need to limit one's self to one option.
Leopold by cyclone can enable 18KRO over USB, the newer "standard" (i said this, because there are some still only 2KRO) mech keyboard gives 6KRO over USB, some even allows NKRO over USB!!! (Noppoo Choc Pro) and last but not least, the new kid in the block Corsair's K60/K90 allows 20KRO over USB, but didnt provide anything about NKRO over P/S2.

Well, it's not mine. But from looking at that, it's easy to tell that it's a Lycosa. It's rubber coated, so if it gets too hot it'll melt, and will wear off easily. So far a friend of mine who owns a lycosa has almost 80% of his keys melted off, i mean you can still use it, but the letters are not there anymore, and it's ugly.

you mean the legends worn out is it???? Hmm.... the keycaps itself are rubberized??? hmm.gif

In my opinion, there's no point in spending over 100 bucks on a keyboard if it's not mechanical.
Take the leap, move to the mechanical kb thread lol. And it's better in ALL aspects compared to a membrane kb.
*
totally agreed on this!
have to +1

never bought a keyboard over RM100 in my life which isn't mechanical... laugh.gif

i have learned long ago, logitech so called gaming keyboards are over priced. They're in the end just rubber dome keyboards >->; not worth their asking price.

This is why i created the mechanical keyboard club to help others know the difference.

if paying a hundred of more, just get cheapest mech keyboard, don't buy so called over priced gaming rubber dome keyboard  sweat.gif
my last rubberdome keyboard used was a Logitech G15. i remember sometimes in game i pressed a key and sometimes it didn't actuate. This caused me some wipes in world of warcraft among other games.

Never had this issue with my Ducky DK-9008 Tiger Limited edition mechanical keyboard. The only mistake i make is when i press wrong key when not looking properly, or when touch typing. But with mechanical keyboard (cherry mx brown at least since thats what i'm using), i'm never left to wonder whether the key i pressed actuated or not (because mine is tactile so i get feedback from typing to indicate the key actuated).

But on the G15, it felt like mush, and you never can tell if you press whether it did or not, sometimes.

You got to try both and compare it yourself to know this, especially over long term usage.

Yea, you're right! Moogle!!!
when i first know about mechanical keyboard, it was around 2 years ago when i browsed around and saw your legacy, the mechanical keyboard club and went inside for a peek because that time i know nothing about mechanical keyboard.... the first mech keyboard i saw was a Filco Majestouch 2 Metallic Blue, i was instantly captivated by it's simple design and nice color!!! then i asked and found out that shocking price shocking.gif shocking.gif shocking.gif which makes me go do my research and then now.... got myself rosewill rk9000 blue switch and never regret!!!!

but only one regret though.... damn im poisoned by them custom keycaps and korean customs!!! cry.gif cry.gif cry.gif

Well I do agree that the mechanical switches are far superior compared to rubber-dome type but there are features that the mechanical keyboards are missing compared to other gaming keyboards, it is not until recently that they have backlit keys and dedicated gaming buttons... Logitech just started to have one so it'll be a matter of time..

other than that, each one of us have different needs and preferences to what kind of peripherals they're looking for and comfortable with be it for typing or gaming, not to mention that some of us can't justify paying RM50 for a keyboard let alone a mechanical one that cost more than most keyboards out there
*
well, i totally agreed with you on this, that's why if wanna get rubberdome, just get those RM50-ish would suffice, paying more for so-called gaming keyboards are just wasting unjustified money....
and i have to say, almost everyone i know dont think the money i paid for keyboard justifies the value, because they are viewing things at a different perspective.... pretty much like comparing dogs to cats.... sweat.gif

you are better, i regret getting razer BW sad.gif
my 1st mech kb and the worst.....

strongly agree. i nvr came across any of my friend using mechanical kb except myself. it is not for mass and as you said, most can't justify rm50 for a kb alone.

after trying mechanical kb, it is a good buy for me and as moogle said,
*
this.. this... this... is kind of unfortunate.....

then right now using what keyboard? hmm.gif
