budget? recommended is the Black Widow... cheapest mechanical now~  biggrin.gif

Agreed, the BlackWidow is definitely for those on budget or wants an eye-catching keyboard that is mechanical. Otherwise, the SteelSeries keyboards remains on top for performance and durability. biggrin.gif

yeah, i'm totally agree with you. i bought razer lycosa mirror rma ed once, and i don't think the quality were that good. the keys some times stucked inside. i need to remove it and plug it back. i already have 2 keys facing this problem. although, this is consider as minor, but sometimes it gives the feeling of not really worth for that price tag.

for mechanical keyboard, i think it will heavily depends on manufacturer, if razer has it's own manufacturer, it's gameover for quality, as if he's getting a filco or cherry mechanical key manufacturer, then we will see good quality.

as for both appearance, if you want a more scratch-proof keyboard, choose steelseries. because i think the shiny part of razer blackwidow is gonna have some scratches over time.

Well, at least SteelSeries uses cherry black for maximum performance and durability. However, cannot deny that Razer is pretty much on cosmetic though. laugh.gif

Up your budget to 400 and you can snag a new 7G from Edifier's stock clearance.

pros, i wanna know whether I should get a Cherry G80-3494 cherry red switch or a filco majestouch tactile touch cherry brown switch?
Heard that the filco's build is more sturdier but they got pad-printed keys while Cherry's G80 is lighter and features laser etched keys....
In a state of dilemma here....
