save up for it its worth it, those cherry mx blacks, Superb wrist rest, fail usb 1.1 x2 , and the normal audio, mic jack.

I am interested in the steelseries 6Gv2. Does it use the same switches as the 7G? I tried a 7G before and think its quite good...

Well for starters, the 6Gv2 is more affordable compared to the 7G although they both use Cherry Black switches. The 6Gv2 is basically a 7G without the wrist rest, 2 USB1.1 ports and the audio jacks.

A mechanical keyboard is a keyboard that uses mechanical switches rather than membrane surface for the interface. And the rest I would have to say "Google it".

if only razer used blacks for BW, my money will be on BW for sure.

quite true, but still lack wrist rest.-.- too small, no diffrent from having none if it only had both.

imho, 7G is way overkill with that price...
i would rather get 6Gv2 instead....
or BW if budget low

but when budget is even lower. =(
i opt for low profile keys(except if its mechanical)
so lycosa, x4, x6.
what would you guys pick?

I think i will wait for BW release at malaysia instead of getting 7g now. But cant wait to get a new keyboard
