Unless you want to hear "Tick,Tick,Tick" on every key you pressed, then by all means go ahead.

That's my point of view, you may or may not agree with me. nod.gif

Doesnt have to be a mechanical. Logitech has a few good keyboards that caters your budget. Around RM100, you can try the G110 or if add a little more, G510 is pretty decent too. There is a basic mech keyboard going for rm199 I think, Ducky Zero.

Ducky zero goes for around 270 bucks.

If you guys are talking about switches on mech keyboards, come join us at the Mech KB club lol. We won't bite

For gamer they do want the looks as well so i suggest something like Lingloong promo on Cooler Master mecha keyboard,
should be around RM260-RM280 but you still got that nice lighting that gaming keyboard never fail to deliver.

not only looks, I'm okay with a plain looking KB but I'll need at least backlight, audio passthroughs and media control so that feature doesn't come cheap on mech kbs

Rosewill is 299 actually, it's their entry level keyboards.

They did have a promotion once to sell for 249.

WTA, using a gaming keyboard, can u still type before loading into windows(anything before login screen)? ie in BIOS, or when trying to reboot with driver signature off...

Cuz I can't seem to use my gaming keyboard to press F7 to choose boot with driver signature off...

I think it's too expensive for what you're paying for. It has a cheap and flimsy build, with no plate mount.

What's worst that the price quoted in Harvey Norman was unbelievably expensive , all gaming keyboards price range from RM19x to RM28x

Around.

Below 100, quite hard to get a decent one. Add a bit more for the G110.
