That's cool! Thanks for the info bro! One last thing, how about the keys button? Nice & comfy to press?  hmm.gif
*
more like rubber feel, after lycosa i changed to sidewinder x4, for the feeling sidewinder x4 more solid, actually i prefer the pressing feel of sidewinder x4, but only limited to red backlit, then i change to g510, with LCD panel and more software update, sidewinder series EOL by microsoft already haha

QUOTE(jasmineivan @ Jul 10 2012, 03:39 PM)
I don't like another thing about g510 is the macro buttons too near to the main keyboards button.
It actually affecting my feeling to the button location. eg, I can't press on the left control button accurately without any other reference.
*
QUOTE(EdwinCodec @ Jul 10 2012, 03:53 PM)
I find that too on the picture reference. Hmm.  hmm.gif
*
ya, sidewinder macro key almost same as g510, so when i change from lycosa to x4 i hardly press the key also, but x4 to g510, can press very accurately thumbup.gif

Need recommendation for new keyboard. Typing>Gaming:

-Budget: RM 250 max
-Brand: Any
-Feature needed:
>Silent (silent than my current cheapo Logitech K200)
>Backlight (I'm crawling in the dark guy)

I did try to check at mechanical keyboard, have some idea but still looking for keyboard that have backlight. I'm not backlight fan but I need backlight. Silent is the issue because doesn't want to wake someone with my keyboard noise.

Thank you.
*
Sidewinder x4. Red backlit. Rm189 but not a lot of shop can find this anymore. Or logitech g110, 3 switchable color backlit. For the noise more or less the same, maybe i never go bother it since non mech keyboard noise still consider ok for me smile.gif

So, what's the difference between G510 and G110. Can't find one... If only due to display, nah... I don't need it. Do you mean G110 produce less noise than G510?
*
QUOTE(Clem1982 @ Jul 12 2012, 12:01 PM)
the G110 have less macro keys and no lcd.. other features look the same and the keys are the same IINM.... you could compare them side by side as most shops will have both models on their shelves
*
i watch this comparison video before i choose between g510 and g110 smile.gif

No time to go shop and buy. Even if buy at Sarawak, also at SRP. If buy from LYN, might get cheaper price.
I'll look for the vid. But seems like I don't need the LCD etc. So for G510/G1100 vs ordinary keyboard, how is the sound? My keyboard start to be annoying after 1 year usage. The "ketek ketok" sound are...  sweat.gif  So tek tok...
*
then g110 should be a great choice for u, since backlit color not a big issue for u, my g510 is quite silent smile.gif

*
oh sorry, i mean the choice of the backlit biggrin.gif
g110 only can switch between 3 colors
g510 can switch to any colors u like

and ya, the backlit of both model is quite dim also

just asking, for half-a-gamer, is the Logitech Wireless Combo MK710 (url: http://www.logitech.com/en-my/mice-pointer...rd-combos/6541) enough to play games like CoD, CS, and/or DoTA?

QUOTE(jax2103 @ Oct 23 2012, 12:56 AM)
hi, i need some recommendations
i'm interested to buy razer blackwidow but after read somewhere in this forum, i found that razer product are not so good choice so i decide to hold it first. but now my keyboard have problems (even to type this need to use help from on-screen keyboard... T.T) so i think need to find new keyboard fast. price around rm200 - rm350 is okay (highest can go to rm400). game i always play on pc are dota 2 and diablo 3. hope all the gamers here can help me smile.gif
*
blackwidow is mechanical keyboard, do u really need mechanical?
dota 2 and diablo 3 better if u use something with macrokey IMO, get something with macrokey will be a better deal for u

Logitech G105, G110 and G510, Microsoft X4, are some, basically it means having the ability to record certain combination of keypresses and/or mouse clicks into one key to be pressed at your convinience

imagine you have to press Ctrl+shift+P for a certain function in.. lets say.. Adobe Premier or photoshop... mapping those keypresses into a single key will definitely save you a lot of time especially if you're using it a lot

same with games, especially MMORPGs when you have tons of skill combination that you'd wish to use  nod.gif
*
+1 for this, g510 g110 x4 x6 give u extra macro key which is programmable
