I just RMA my iP4 due to battery and antenna prob

previously was on FCC ID:BDG-2380A now
the RMA'd Phone FCC ID:BDG-2380B

apparently its the later batch of iPhones

from anantech i read it only will decrease the reception by -10db max

but in ur case .. 2bars to non .. is bad..
i expected it to be like 1bar.

i just did it at digi on monday this week. bought phone on 29 sept

they have stock for RMA one. the RMA stock is not the usual ones that come in boxes they just come in a plastic wrap. with both the original back and front screen protectors on. and a Digi warranty card.
change straight away.

1st they will tell u that may be its the simcard prob. so they will change one for you
but after they change dun go. show them it still dun work.
then they will authorize a RMA.

btw my reception got down from 5 to 1 bar at digi center.
even with 3g off. they acknowledge it. ( as i said just imagine that some place not in digi center .. how ? )


ordered free case on 1st iphone thru the free case programe.
ordered 2nd case using the RMA'd phone today = )

battery much better. previous phone not-doin anything from 8am-12pm lost 10% battery. ( altho 3g was on = P )

antenna problem still persist. but its alil better.
as the diff i read A and B is the Wifi and Bluetooth module made from diff supplier
some say B has better Wifi.

Retina display A was warmer B cooler

sorry i dun think u have misunderstand me..
the retina display of the Ver A is warmer ( yellowish tint )
compared to the Ver B is cooler (bluish tint)

if u compare it side to side.

not the phone getting warm

on new phone notification also on ....
location service also on ( this wont drain battery unless u use the app that executes the location service )
push is off.
3g off

much better battery !
can last me for 2 days.

well i've compared it to the ones on display from various shops

yes .. Ver B which is mine is cooler.
but i cant say for all ver B. as i've only mine to compare
but all Ver A i see is warm.

... i prefer ver A.. warmer..
as white .. looks whiter.. rather than bluer.

(that if i compare it side by side) standalone .. wont notice at all.

then hahaa u'll like the ver B more then

meaning .. it will make a sound/vib to inform u that a new msg ect..
i dun think it will drain batt

but yeah turning off the push services will help.

unless.. turning off notification is = turning all msn fb msg

bought ip4 29th Sept ordered 1st case on 30th OCT recieved case yesterday
yes my RMA'd a new phone on monday 4th OCT

recieved the Order Acknowledgement same day.

If I'm right ..
u can buy ur phone on 30th sept u just have to register the phone on that day with itune's and u can place your order within 30days from date of purchase meaning by 30th OCT.

for me i registed my 2nd RMA phone on 4th OCT and still manage to order
1st case recieved. now awaiting 2nd case. = )

u can call them up and try..

but last time i called up DHL it self and tell them to change the address
(from KL to PG) coz i wont be around to recieve it .
