QUOTE(Everdying @ Aug 5 2010, 01:05 PM) yea, but u can also top up RM30 from the DA price and get a sphex so total RM209. I dislike shpex ...thinking to get goliathus because I've heard Deathadder infrared is better on cloth , even Razer mouse configurator shown me , it's better on cloth . But one thing of cloth mat worry me is , the edge tend to wears out after long term usage , I want my things more durable , I will try out destructor . Vespula , hmm heard some negative comments about it .sphex size in between goliathus standard and omega size, just of cos its thin and not cloth... |

QUOTE(Everdying @ Aug 5 2010, 01:29 PM) if going goliathus, i would go for at least the medium size cos the omega is too small for my liking. oh , because I think omega size quite sufficient as I using at least 1.8k dpi ,monitor screen only 24inch with 1280x1024 when gaming ( GPU max support reso, higher than that will lag ~.~) , So I only need small movement to move the cursor . haha , I am palm grip user ! hmm , I wonder the hard surface of destructor will damage the mouse feet anot . and Destructor durability is not good alsoedge wearing out all depends how u play, if u rest ur wrist on the pad alot on the edge of cos wears out la... palm grip users wont have this problem anyway. got the deathadder for Rm179 ...
I tried goliathus (speed and control) , vespula and deathadder. 1) goliathus (speed and control) , their thickness seem getting in my way , disturb my movement . I tried to move the mouse around , but it doesnt feel good . so I think cloth pad are not for me . 2) vespula , the wristarea is very UNCOMFORTABLE ! not soft enough , kinda stiff , again disturb my movement . Furthermore , the wristarea quite small if you see it in reality . I know the wristarea can take off , just use the vespula surface ... but cant hold firm enough without wristarea pad . 3) destructor , thin and smooth surface , so I got it .. but bit exp for a mouse mat ~.~ ... anyone is using Razer Destructor ? I got Deathadder and Destructor 3 weeks ago in KL pc fair . After using 10 hours ++ , not gaming but casual surfing and studying (IT student) , the mouse feet/skates of Deathadder become thinner @@ ! just 3 weeks !!! The surface is very smooth , and control . But the cons is , it damages the mouse feet very fast ! Anyone can recommend me durable mouse feet -.- ?

Megasoma is too expensive ~.~ .... Goliathus , I dislike it caz the thickness of it are getting into my way of moving the mouse . I rest my on the mouse normally , didnt apply pressure on it . Basically I am palm user but I user fingers to move the mouse . I think I need to replace the feet once 3 months . By the way , I've read some reviews that Destructor Razer Fractal will be rub/wore off after 3 4 months . So I took a test yesterday . What we move on this surface is normally our hands and mouse . So I use my fingers to do the test , not razor or scissor that I'll never use mouse pad , who will --? . I try to use my fingernail to scratch on a point , hardly for 1~2 minutes. Surprising ! The surface still retained the surface particle , and look like a new one . And my fingernail become smoother , hahaha ! If the surface can resist the fingernail scratch , not to mention the soft mouse skates. This pad looks durable to me , I wonder why those people said this is not durable , did they use razor on it ?
by the way , does local see Razer teflon mouse skates replacement ? So far , I've only seen hyperglide mouse skates. This post has been edited by linkinawe: Aug 31 2010, 10:10 PM |

Since I start to use this Deathadder , I no longer suffer from hand shaking on the morning . Previously I was using some cheap mouse , Rm50 for 2 years , a very small mouse . I keep using the 'claw' position to hold the mouse , click , and move , for 8~10hours daily . Finally I got the hand shaking symptom , couldnt even hold a pen to write at the morning . It worth to spend some $$ for a ergonomics mouse like Deathadder =) .
I have to agree with victor2212 The hump really uncomfortable and like an obstacle . I can get a more comfortable hump , which inside was filled with gel , something like liquid . But the Vespula , so thick and hard , ow ! But anyway , I prefer no hump at all . This is the most comfortable setting for me. |
