I actually spend 10 minutes thinking what to reply here.. laugh.gif

Actually, both Razer and SS are rock-solid gaming eqs. But, having owned gears from both sides i have to say, 60% of my purchase probability lies with Razer.

Why? They got bling bling mang.. brows.gif

For me, i always feel like i'm buying something more than just a gear with Razer.

EDIT: think of it this way, if you will.

SS = German cars. Purpose built, high performance.

Razer = Lamborghini. They've got the looks that matches the performance.

Well what's the use of looks when the performance fails? It's like the same argument: what's the use of graphics when gameplay sucks? IMO both SS and Razer have lousy quality control.

It's gonna be a fingerprint/scratch magnet again for sure, like most of razer products.

The good thing about "normal" mechanical keyboards is that you can replace the keys, but i don't think you can for this keyboard (unless razer is gonna sell spare keys).

Anyway, i already expected razer to come up with a mechanical keyboard because steelseries's 6gv2 tramples over razer's membrane keyboards like cheap plastic.

If the BW standard edition has exactly the same price as the Imperator, i might consider getting one biggrin.gif

It's called high lift off distance. What you can do is, take some tape and tape it over the sensor gap. High DPI does not mean better accuracy so you may want to lower the DPI if you feel uncomfortable.

One thing about the salmosa - after awhile the buttons will develop squeaks.
