We at Play Interactive Software Sdn Bhd as the newly appointed distributor of SteelSeries Malaysia are glad that there are still end users and gaming peripheral enthusiasts showing interests in SteelSeries products.

First and foremost we would like to thank Inter Asia for being the backbone for promoting the SteelSeries brand in Malaysia throughout the years. We are thankful that with Inter Asia's existence, we have such healthy and growing target market within Malaysia for SteelSeries products and thanks for supporting us Play Interactive.

As most of you end users and retailers out there following this thread, we ensure you that we Play Interactive acting as the new distributor will try our best to fulfill both end users and retailers satisfactory needs in terms of the pricing and also the quality of service we provide.

We understand that the end users' main concern is the pricing, therefore we would like all of you end users and retailers to have a look at our newly adjusted price list for our SteelSeries full product range.

As for activities and promotions wise, we at Play Interactive are very keen to do something for the gaming society as well as for it may take time for us.

Not a prob, for new products like the 7H or the new blue v2, white kinzu and other stuffs that Inter Asia previously did not have in their inventory, you guys know where to get them!

Well as for Xai RUSE edition, sorry to inform you RUSE fans out there, we're not taking them in. sad.gif

We at PLAY Interactive Sdn Bhd would like to take this opportunity to apologize for the miscommunication caused regarding the warranty issues, which aroused the curiosity and dissatisfaction among the faithful SteelSeries fans and enthusiasts in Malaysia towards the SteelSeries brand.

First of all we would lilke to ensure ALL of you SteelSeries users in Malaysia that we at PLAY Interactive will take up the responsibility to accept RMA services despite of which distributor you previously bought your SteelSeries products from, may it be the products currently distributed to dealers in Malaysia selling SteelSeries products by PLAY Interactive or the previous distributor, Inter Asia, ALL shall be accepted provided still under warranty period.

We would like to take this opportunity to inform all dealers throughout Malaysia as well that are currently selling SteelSeries products to inform their customers that all SteelSeries warranty issues are to be re-directed to us at PLAY Interactive Sdn Bhd provided ONLY with their receipt upon purchase to confirm its validity of warranty period.

Hi Alexision,

All SteelSeries products are granted a 1 year warranty. Should you face any problems and need RMA services, you may send it to Moderno PC @ SS15 or send it to us provided with a receipt upon purchase from any stores within the 1 year's time period.

Hope you guys had a wonderful long weekend! I am happy to tell you that the 7H USB has won a “Top-Produkt” Award in the PC Games Hardware magazine with a score of 1,51. They made a comparison review about surround-sound headsets in the current magazine. 7H USB has beaten the Sennheiser PC 360 and the new Corsair Headset HS1.


By that, both the 7H and the 7H USB now own the “Top-Produkt” Award of this highly appreciated hardware magazine PC Games Hardware!



Also in Austria the 7H is highly appreciated and received a Gold Award at NOOBtech.at.

“Precise high tones and powerful basses. Just as eSports people love it.”


Good news for SteelSeries users all around the world, and yes there are some problems with the first batch of 7H for some unlucky users, but be rest assured that for RMA services you may drop by at ModernoPC or contact Yong Kai Loon.

Hi 7Eleven,

Well first of all, I would suggest that you read the press release once again. From TODAY onwards, yes we will charge a surcharge of RM30 per item for any SS products that are purchased from those retailers which are NOT under our official distribution list. So if your concern would be that you will be charged for a RM30 surcharge just because you bought it from some retailers previously dated before the 15th of November 2010, provided with a valid receipt, yes I can assure you that the warranty issue is no issue. This is our way at PLAY Interactive to provide SS fans and enthusiasts protection or valid warranty from the distributor itself should you purchased any SS products that might be defect items and should not know where to seek RMA services from.

I hope this would answer your curiosity. And of course we do hope that you as a SS loyal fan, would not boycott SS products from now on as for your actions would definitely bring negative influence to other SS users out there.

Ya..my point of view is most of razer mouse's feet are smaller in size compare to SS's.
Example, my DA can't skate well on 4HD also, but i think is not bad on my destructor.

Yes any purchase before 15th of November 2010 is totally not affected - provided if you have a valid receipt.

If your SS products have any problems and are still under the 1 year warranty period, yes you may send it to PLAY Interactive directly or any of our dealers which I will soon post it up for the public's reference. (As mentioned by YongKaiLoon - yes some charges may be applied by our dealers as well should you not send it to our office personally).

@Everdying, the policy of RM30 surcharge only applies for ANY SS products that are purchased on the 15th November 2010 onwards no matter it's from Inter Asia distribution or wherever you may get your SS products from besides PLAY Interactive.

Should you need a hassle free RMA service, you may always purchase it from our official retailers which shall be soon posted up for the public's reference.

Mind you, we are not charging you like shit, should you need hassle free RMA services, you may always purchase SS products from our official retailers and this is our way of protecting all of you SteelSeries fans throughout Malaysia in terms of purchasing SS products under our distribution as the exclusive distributor with valid warranty and reduce the risk of purchasing any defect items in the market.

We hope that you TechnoG and all the SteelSeries fans would understand this policy and continue supporting SS in the future.

No worries upon how you differentiate the stock from Inter-Asia or PLAY Interactive. ALL our SteelSeries stocks distributed by PLAY Interactive would have our PLAY Interactive's sticker/logo as shown below.

As for your concern of someone who doesn't browse this forum, no worries about that as well, as for we will be sending the hard copy of press release to our official press releases as a prove.

You may always send an email to the SS HQ for inquiries, as for the decision was approved by the SS HQ as well.

We will ensure that we distribute the press release to those retailers that are currently selling SS products may it be under the previous distributor's distribution or our distribution. And this is up to the retailer's responsibility of conveying the message to their customers, whom you end users prefer to buy your products from based on your preference and loyalty.

Not a problem, I'm at your disposal should you need clarification regarding this warranty policy.

Surely everyone would love to see some improvements made on SS Kinzus' and here we've got it!

White Kinzu:

1) Glossy outlook which I know fits perfectly either with your Siberia Red or White when you go for a tournament! icon_idea.gif

2) Improvement on Kinzu feet/glide which are made of the highest grade of Teflon.

Red Kinzu Pro Edition

3) The Red Kinzu Pro Edition switches are made of JAPAN OMRON which are no doubt one of the best switch in terms of quality as compared to 'other' gaming peripherals which are made of CHINA omron switches.
