My Kinzu is OEM pack so totally plastic ^^. anyway compare to Ikari laser rubber coating, they are totally different surface.

So the one im having here is the OEM version...

i feel oem and retail kinzu no diff(other than the 2)
ikari rubber is 1st gen
while xai is 2nd gen like the imperator
correct me if i were wrong

Just got my 5hV2 headsets last night...somehow i feel my ex steelseries neckband treble is so much better compared to it..able to listen to footsteps much clearer..why is that so?

Kinzu OEM is pure plastic surface, retail 1 is the rubber coated but i think is bit different from Xai right?

Yup, I think AlexLai was the one who mentioned that the rubber coating on the Xai seems to be thicker, I think got more feel with it.

Thought the only differenc between OEM n retail kinzu is the braided and non-braided cord + black vs white scroll wheel?

I have Ikari Lazer and Kinzu Optical. IMHO, the Kinzu is just too small for my hand After a while of gaming, my fingers feel very tiring because I'm "clawing" instead of holding/palming it. Maybe I will get the Xai within the week.

Don't know this latest model still got the same prob? alot of forum also report the freezing problem before

Kinzu is the worst mouse ever made.
Bad sensor and fail in less than a month.
I RMA mine 2 times and eventually sold off cheaply.

Do a search and you will find many others having problems...

Which is why the Kinzu Red was made in an attempt to solve previous issues with a new switch.
