Any sifus know why my car will jerk, almost everytime when i maintain my speed at 40-42km/h ???
the type of jerk gone worse...last time only jerk 3 times, now is continuous non-stop at that speed....i have to either release pedal or press it harder, so the jerk won't happen again....
i am using Auto gear(not in shiftronic)....my model is 1.6SX...when i go SC, they oni use computer tuning, and always no problem found in computer reading...for wat i know, is nth abt computer reading or anything related to ECU...
wat's the cause of the problem?? it happens after my 1k service...change engine oil, oil filter, and ATF fluid....all caltex brand......

can any1 tell me hw 2 solve this problem?? coz the problem had gone worse....i nid advice from SIFUS here....
i doubt the SCT won't know hw 2 solve this problem...

try to go for your tyre tuning. it might just be some balancing problem.... if not, it would be you drive shaft.... however, it would still be best that you drive to workshop that you know and ask them to check...

Good luck trying to repair your KIA under NAZA distributor. They are known to give shoddy after sales service.

Most likely ignition problem.

Could be ignition timing, spark plugs or distributor cap problem. The service centre should know what's the problem.

Maybe you can try using RON97 fuel which could prevent engine knocking.

i've tried R97 petrol....caltex,BHP,V-power...also the same..
it happens when spd 40-42km/h in 3rd gear, which RPM is low.

How low is the RPM? Below 1k? If that's the problem, I suspect it's the gearbox problem whereby it won't downshift to 2nd gear when the RPM is low. It could be the amount of Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) is not enough.

If you're driving a manual car, try engaging 3rd gear & travel at 30kmh or slower.. Your car will jerk as if the engine will die off.

Hhmm... I think the best way for you is to go back to the Service Centre & lodge another complain. Keep pestering them until they solve your problem. Getting a new car with such defect is really heartache sad.gif

Congrats for getting the problem solved.
Remember do not simply send your car to unauthorized workshop, or the warranty will be void. Read the warranty T&C carefully.

It's lucky you managed to determined that your gearbox was filled with excessive ATF. If you keep on driving it in that condition, the gearbox will not last long ;-)
