QUOTE(KTCY @ Jul 31 2010, 02:37 PM) One of the shop in PG. Comes with box everything so I doubt is imitation or fake product. Will post up photo later on Where is PG? As in Penang or a place? The "Full face cover" does it include the whole front surface or just the screen? This post has been edited by nick67: Jul 31 2010, 02:58 PM

QUOTE(KTCY @ Aug 5 2010, 07:42 PM) If you follow news, it's due to lack of AMOLED screen (which I guess this is the main reason as well) and HTC have to use SLCD screen as a replacement for Telus Desire. Aihh...I hope the next batch still AMOLED lorr..The HTC guy at digital mall told me it will still be AMOLED but I dun think he noe what hes talking about lor..He say "they won't bring SLCD to Msia coz they wana fight with Samsung's AMOLED"...

QUOTE(akachester @ Aug 5 2010, 07:49 PM) I doubt. Even models released lately in Canada and Europe are said to come with SLCD already. With the shortage around, i am pretty sure most likely the next batch will be SLCD. Disappointing, very disappointing indeed..I heard that SLCD the colors not as nice as AMOLED..I'm praying this won't be the case

How do I rename a folder when I create it? Anyone can help? Also, when I download an app, I can't add it to my home page (I can see it in full menu view) but when I try adding it to home it doesn't show + I can still see the icon of the app I had deleted. Is something wrong with me Desire? This post has been edited by nick67: Aug 8 2010, 12:04 AM

I don't think so..As mine shows a slight pink tint on grey colors..Unless this happens on SLCD also, then mine is AMOLED..

QUOTE(KTCY @ Aug 8 2010, 04:34 PM) Easiest is refer to you box. Addon : Most 2.1 user reported that once they upgraded to official Froyo, pink tint gone. I can say most probably due to color calibration on Eclair Mine gone too once I'm on Froyo. QUOTE(thunderbird @ Aug 8 2010, 04:45 PM) I just called few distributors in KL, such as fresh gears, PDA expert, Asia mobile. They couldn't confirmed whether the new stock is SLCD or AMOLED, because the box doesn't mention anything now. It seems u only judging by ur naked eyes? Box din write..I'm just judging based on the pink tint which I thought was a problem with AMOLED screens..I bought from pdaexpert that guy told me its AMOLED still so I'm not sure..

Actually i read sumwhere the pink tint is an AMOLED issue not software issue..Its due to the grey scale which is near the pink so the amoled displays a slight pinkish tint when trying to display grey (or something like that)
