Guys, i may have an explanation to the extremely bad battery life experienced by some.

I was one of you. I would leave 3G, Wifi and background sync on overnight. In 8 hrs battery would drop from 100% to 50%. I was using a lousy Roger (what brand is this anyway?!) router given by TM.

Then I switched to a cheap ProLink router. Same settings and over the same period, the battery would only drop 10%.

Using yet another different router, the battery just dropped 6%.

I have analyzed it and found that the first router had a very unstable connection. If I switched off Wifi, the phone only use 3% battery overnight.

So there... get a good router guys.
