I want to join the darkside too by rooting and install leedroid. I have downloaded the ROM file from XDA forum. How do I install it in my Desire? Is there any newbie guide on this? I searched but did not find any. Pls help.

1. How do I create partition Ext 3?

2. I checked LeeDroid thread and found that Leedroid 1.7 requires a new radio. I have downloaded that too. What is the step I should take? Install Radio first as per the blog guide and then install the ROM?

Hi Sifus, finally managed to root my desire and installed LeeDroid 1.7b. All seems to be fine and the system is quite stable too but I'm facing problem to create an ext partition. I used ROM Manager to create the partition and the phone rebooted to recovery mode but there is an error msg

--Install from sdcard...
Finding update package...
Opening update package...
Verifying update package...
E:failed to open /sdcard/update.zip (No such file or directory)
E:signature verification failed
Installation aborted.

What should I do now... Please help....

Yes, I too rooted using unrevoked method and installed LeeDroid 1.7b... Its quite stable and fast too...
